And those "bad" teams would have been signature wins for Nebraska for their first 7 games last year. I know because there are some cpu metrics that keep track of that. You think I made that up out of thin air? lol. I even referenced the source.
Hahahaha a last second miracle win against a 2-4 team is a "signature win" now?? Of course it is. Nebraska blowing out Wyoming and winning at Northwestern were more impressive than either of those Miami miracles.

Still can't help but laugh at Miami being ranked in the top 10. It's worse than Nebraska being ranked like 7th last year at this point.

But would it be worse than ranking Nebraska 70th this year?

Compared to what Nebraska beat to get to 7-0, yes it is. And yeah, Northwestern was such a good win considering they lost to a .500 FCS team 2 weeks prior to that game. But you're the same person who thinks Georgia Tech is "bad" and teams like Marshall and Troy are good. lol.

Question for you. I've never been a fan of either a committee or the polls...if all the
personalities were equal, wouldn't a committee be better than the polls? I mean a committee
sits around a table and discusses it all together. The polls...is 100 writers sitting alone with
nothing to guide them but regional bias.

When it comes to the top4 teams it's pretty obvious every year.

And Northwestern finished the year winning their bowl game against ranked giant-killer Pitt as an underdog. And Nebraska won on the road in a solid game. What did I miss?

The year isn't over yet, is what you're missing. There's no evidence to prove your opinion correct, let me know if you find something concrete like I have regarding the Miami/Nebraska debate.

I'm sure it's been said already, but while the BCS wasn't ideal, it was a million times better than that shit before.

FSU's 39th in S&P despite the 2-4 start. they've played a very tough schedule so far (five teams in top 35 per S&P excluding Duke).

Whem Miami stops barely surviving against mediocre to bad teams, let me know.

FSU isn't a bad team like some people proclaim. They've played pretty clearly the best schedule in the country thus far. They are 42nd in Massey Composite. They are an above average FBS team IMO. They are clearly a top 50 team IMO.

That they're barely surviving against mediocre/bad teams? Look at their last 3 games, dude. It's right there.

They're an above average team. They have more talent on paper than maybe 2-3 teams in the entire country. There is no excuse for the way they've been playing.

I agree with that.

Bama was just better than us and prepared for that type of opener.

Overwhelming talent has always given us an edge, even with shoddy coaching.

This year...losing our QB at the start, has exposed our shoddy coaching.

I've never understood why we continually give Fisher raises. He ain't going anywhere.
I don't care who wants him. If the school isn't located in Alabama, Georgia or Louisiana
and possibly Texas, he won't be able to win, because he needs states with great
HS athletes, and a lot of them, to cover up for his paint-by-the-number coaching.

Ive been to 3 BIG schools for games. If this is true its not hard to believe but as of right now I throw my vote to Nebraska.

Not that there aren't clunkers out there but if you go to any larger university and can't find hot girls, it might just be you

No, that Nebraska was more deserving to be ranked top 10 last year over Miami this year.

But you called them bad earlier. That's a big difference.
