Because Love was often times the #3 against Golden State, and often times he was the weak link.

To be fair, it's not like he forgot how to play. Like Bosh, with Wade and Lebron...Love was always going to be the one that sacrificed with Kyrie and Lebron.

So, a case can be made for him, imo.

The problem though, is that when Kyrie left, Love didn't really step up (at least not consistently). That would be a concern for me.

There was a time that I would have wanted Love too. I still would. But I just don't think he would fit well with how Luke has the Lakers playing.

I proposed this is an extreme fallback option (if James were the only max FA to sign this summer) and only if James wanted somebody he was comfortable with.....

I think he'd be fine in the system.....and help something we desperately need help with, 3-point shooting. We were dead last if I remember right. He's under contract for 2 seasons.....

He averaged 19ppg and 11rpg in the Finals. 20-plus points in 3 of the 4 games. Not too shabby.

Then probably not a good idea to make a definitive saying they are as tough as Golden St.

The latter has been to 4 straight NBA Finals, and won 3 of the last 4.

They have a team that consists of two top 5 NBA players along with 2 other all star players, one of which is a DPOY.

Boston doesn't have anywhere near the same cache. They have potential to be really good, but potential and actually doing something are two completely different things.
