Yeah. Not saying you are one of these, but the claims that LeBron is afraid of the West is just plain garbage.

The man has played for 2 teams in his career. They both happen to be in the East. That doesn't mean he is scared of the West.

Scared is definitely the wrong word.

Almost guaranteed finals trips in the East is the source if my thinking.

Not anymore. Boston with a healthy squad and one year with everyone is just as tough as GS. Philly isn’t GS but one more star or AS and they are just behind Houston, GS and Boston imo

He'd be a #3 option next summer when we land another FA, most likely Leonard......and he's only signed for 2 more years.

Dude.....you're really not getting it. Love's not a valuable commodity and you could have a better all star at a 3rd potential max slot. Love doesn't play defense and isn't as athletic to keep up with Golden St. Again, I don't understand this infatuation with Love.

Kuzma is a pf that can score and not play d- those are a dime a dozen.

He actually does play defense.

Don't get me wrong. There are no DPOY's in his future. But he does play defense and he's better at it than Love. He's also more athletic than Love.

He's also young, so he can learn and improve his defense as well.

Boston's a good team. But they're not as tough as Golden St.

Kuzma didn't strike me as the greatest defender; but you've seen more Lakers games than I have, so I'll defer to your experience on him.

But Kuzma's far younger than Love and for the time being, doesn't cost anywhere near as much as Love does. On top of that, I don't think Kuzma will be signing for a contract long-term that pays out $25 mil per year.

For Kevin Love?

Of course.

But Why are you trying to recreate The Cleveland roster? It didn't work so well this year and Love was a complete non factor in the Finals. He is a good secondary scorer, sure, burn he doesn't defend and his best days are behind him.

If LA offered Ingram, Kuzma and Deng, Cleveland would accept in less than 2 seconds.

And on top of all of that, how do we know Lebron even would want Love on the Lakers.

As you pointed out earlier, Love was a non-factor in the finals. Can't imagine that sat well with Lebron.

Can you help me out with @DJ's infatuation with Love?

Because Love was often times the #3 against Golden State, and often times he was the weak link.

He's not a great defender. But he does give effort and he can move. Like I said, there are no DPOY's in his future...but he's young, athletic and can improve.

Plus, he's a better defender than Love right now.

But Kuzma's far younger than Love and for the time being, doesn't cost anywhere near as much as Love does. On top of that, I don't think Kuzma will be signing for a contract long-term that pays out $25 mil per year.

Exactly. He's never going to be a max level player. But he can be one of those guys that you need to put around max level players to help win. I see him as an Ariza type player.
