Vegas has the Lakers as the betting favorite as James next team....

That’s a bad thing.

When he went to Miami - Cleveland were favs and Chicago was 2nd.
When he went back to Cleveland - Miami were the favs. Most thought he wouldnt go to Cleveland bc of young core and Gilbert.

That being said, I think it is between Cleveland and LA. But you never know he has surprised in the past

Sure, but Vegas isn't in the business of losing money.

he will cry... then look for a team who might take him back to the Finals. Maybe pull a Durant and join the Warriors...

Except they aren't allowed to take bets on where a guy signs in free agency.

It's illegal.

So, it's just for shits and giggles?

:L

Ps. I was just there and they are hedging hard on where they think he signs.

They can't out and out accept bets.

But, they can take early bets on who wins the Chip based on where they think he could land.

They have the Lakers at 12-1.

76ers at 7-2.

And Cavs at 50-1....lol

Bet against Vegas 10 times and I'll guaran-damn-tee it you lose at least 7 times.
Regulations prevent Las Vegas sportsbooks from offering odds on things like where a player signs or other props that aren’t decided in game play. Those regulations exist to prevent props from being fixed or influenced from things outside of game play, to protect both the books and bettors alike.

Vegas’ Title Odds Indicate They Expect LeBron To Go To The Sixers

Vegas covering itself in case LeBron James signs with the Sixers, gives Philly third-best odds at 2019 championship

Yeah, better place that bet sooner rather than later.

Because last time he actually switched teams, they didn't take anymore bets on who would win the Chip that year.

Miami was the favorite. He didn't stay there and Vegas took a hit.

As news of LeBron James opting out of his contract with the Miami Heat on Tuesday morning spread, some insiders in the gambling world took the ultimate measure to minimize their risk. They pulled all future odds on all NBA teams to win next year's title.

Vegas casinos pull title odds due to LeBron

That's the thing....

The article states the chip odds are based on the fact that they have a decent shot to get LEBron and we all know he's good enough to drag any roster in the East to the ECF.

So, adding him to the Lakers or Sixers core?

Yeah
