Better enjoy it really, because that is probably about as weak as Tennessee has ever or will ever be.
Hopefully it will stay that way a good bit longer.

That was funny after all the shit talking Big 12 fans about A&M being a scrub. Almost as funny as Ole Miss ass raping texas @ texas last season....![]()
LOL at Team SEC fairies still sucking on that Ole Miss dick for beating Texas last year. I don't recall you pimping out Ole Miss after Texas poured 66 pts on them in Oxford the previous year?
Um Auburn ran the table and won the national championship that year. The seasons that Oregon played Tennessee in '10 and '12, the Vols finished with losing records both years. Different quality of teams we're talking about here.
Of course Oregon didn't have any problems with Tennessee's d-line or anything else in those match-ups. Tennessee sucked those seasons.
Oregon moved the ball on Auburn all game. They had 450 yards of offense. Fact is 2 high scoring teams played a great game. Great NC game between evenly matched teams. Not sure how that equates to Oregon cant hang.

I never said they couldn't hang. They had a great season. Recently they've been a top notch program, one of the best. I'm not taking anything away from them. I'm just saying in that NCG, Oregon did move the ball. But as I said to me the problem in that game was when they got into the red zone and the field started becoming compressed. They struggled. They ran out of space and weren't able to spread Auburn out. Then of course you had some crucial poor reads by Daron Thomas out of the zone read and it cost them the game. Highly entertaining NC though.

Worse defense for a national championship team during the BCS era.

Yeah, the explosive and timely offense at key moments is what carried them to the title. When they had to have a play they got it all season. Cam was money (no pun intended).

But it was a SEC front![]()

Okay. So red zone issues, particularly running the ball in the red zone and some poor decisions by Thomas at key times in the zone read didn't cost Oregon that game. What did then in your opinion?
I was thinking Sun Belt since that's the conference that the SEC plays the most.![]()
Losing Strong and bridgewater and only 4 D starters back? I dont know
Idk, Clemson lost Boyd and quite a bit as well, not to mention Louisville put a pretty good whoopin on Miami last season (36-9). VT was pretty average (8-5) and I'm just not quite sold on Duke yet after one good season. Louisville isn't on the same level as FSU, but I'd put them in the same category as Clemson, Miami and VT. That's just my opinion, guess we can agree to disagree.![]()
