It is no surprise that ESPN has the SEC ranked #1. I could have told you that without seeing their poll
It will come down to if:
Clemson, FSU, VT & Duke > Oklahoma, Texas, Baylor and Kansas State

The Big 12 is stronger. The Big 12 is deeper. It has been and it still is. Third best overall conference IMO.
The question for me is has the ACC caught up to the Big 10? It's narrowed the gap recently but still has a ways to go.
Seeing Baylor as part of the equation. Who would have thought that four years ago.

I went with the SEC. They have been the for quite some time and they stay the top even after losing stars. I still think it will be the same this year.
The B1G does compete with them pretty good in the Capitol One and Outback Bowl though. May not always win, but are often great games.
Doesn't that kinda go both ways, since an A&M team that finished 3rd in their division, beat the Big12 Champ 41-13 the year before.
Ahhh, but the Big 12's best defensive player of the year never took it in the ass........Also, OU wasn't even that good of a team when Aggy kicked the shit out of them. they already had 2 losses and were an ass hair away from 3 more losses. Bama pretty much ran through the SEC with ease, except against Aggy and AU and was an ass hair away from playing for the BCS title again last year. Just saying...........Really though, I'm just trolling Michael Sam....

That was odd. There wasn't a ton of offense in that game. Oregon fought their asses off. They just couldn't get it done once the field started compressing in the red zone. They ran out of space against that SEC front
I really dislike statements like SEC front -- it was an Auburn front. Oregon had no trouble with the SEC front of Tennessee.

Um Auburn ran the table and won the national championship that year. The seasons that Oregon played Tennessee in '10 and '12, the Vols finished with losing records both years. Different quality of teams we're talking about here.
Of course Oregon didn't have any problems with Tennessee's d-line or anything else in those match-ups. Tennessee sucked those seasons.
