If we have learned anything the last 3 years, it is that Laker fans have many ways to find HOPE.

It's all media speculation. My personal take, Lebron is trying to catch up to the all-time greats ring-wise. Kobe's in that discussion as well, so why would he help Kobe in the ring count? I wonder how Knicks fans feel about Melo to the Lakers as well? It's irritating to see it on ESPN every single day.

Lebron is trying to catch up to the all-time greats ring-wise. Kobe's in that
discussion as well, so why would he help Kobe in the ring count?

Then why would he stay with D-wade and always be trailing Wade as well?

In fact, the dialogue would eventually switch to can LeBron win a ring without D-Wade (who was able to win without Lebron).

..............

The truth is that the LAKERS are the gold standard of the NBA franchises.

Southern California living is not always the best for the masses who have to scrape by financially.
But Southern California living with a 9 figure bank account is sublime and unmatched.

Put the two together and its an EXTREMELY attractive possibility for Lebron.

He would be leaving 23mil on the table to become a UFA 1yr early. Some think he will to try to get one last nice 4-5yr contract for big bucks.

If he leaves, he leaves. It frees up cap space to try to bring in multiple good players next summer.

If LA dumps Kobe it's possible, but that wont happen.

Because as much as I like D-Wade, Wade will not go down as a top 10 all-time player. Have you ever lived in Los Angeles or Miami? I've lived in both and prefer Miami. It's really all about preference.

Don't be silly.

Nobody will put Wade over James on a list just because Wade would have one more ring. That's like putting Hondo > Jordan because he has 8 rings.

In fact most people still feel Lebron hasn't won a legit ring...The first one in 2012 was the asterisk year. A little over half a season...And this year, he did everything to choke away the season in game 6, but was Saved by Ray Allen's fluke shot, after Lebron choked.

Till Lebron wins a ring without Wade, Bosh, and Ray Allen no ONE's Impressed.

Sorry but that's the truth.

He'll go back to Cleveland before going to LA> IMO. ESPN making a story out of nothing.

Yeah, but does anybody have deeper pockets in the NBA? I don't think so.

I doubt that very seriously. You really think Miami owners have more money than LA owners do?

He'll correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe JD means under the CBA!! The team that is looking to re-sign can offer more because they can offer an extra year!!

The Heat will be able to offer a 5 year max deal and the Lakers will only be able to offer a 4 year!! The question for the Heat will be how far over the cap the Heat will have to go and whether or not they will be willing to.

Lebron will never play in MJ's or Kobe's shadow.
