Not once have I ever said a high pick is equal to a low pick.

What I’ve said is picking high has not been a proven method of winning. Look around the league. The teams with year in, year out success have not spent a lot of time drafting in the top 10.

Prove me wrong.

* 1988 Bengals
* 1992 Cowboys
* 1998 Colts
* 1999 Rams
* 2004 Steelers
* 2008 Dolphins
* 2012 Colts
* 2013 Chiefs

If a bad organization isn't able to win despite getting high picks every year, that doesn't mean the high pick is bad. It just means that's a shitty organization.

But since you love trends so much...This organization hasn't been able to find a QB in 30 years. Lets never draft a QB then...? Durrr.

lol....holy shit balls...

Half the teams on this list didn’t even win a SB.... two of them are from a totally different era.

What did the 2008 Dolphins go to on accomplish?

Colts tanked for Luck and now he’s retired....how many trophies did he bring to Indianapolis? What’s that you say? None? GENIUS!

So you can only draft a QB if you have a top 6 pick?

Please quote one post where I said they should never draft a QB.

Love the inclusion of the 88 Bengals. Why? Because they won 4 games the previous season? The year before that they won 10. The 4 wins clearly wasn’t tanking.

Also...you didn’t even know who Doug Williams was....you are permanently banned from talking about any football from before you were hatched from your egg.

Holy dufuss.

They all won and had a great season after (many) shitty seasons before helped greatly through high draft picks ya moron.

The 2008 Dolphins went 11-5 after going 1-15. You don't think high draft picks played a part there ya idiot?

If the bar is to only win the SB there's a long list of teams that didn't tank that failed in that endeavor too you pea brain. So does that mean not tanking leads to SBs? Durrrr. This is why you don't understand logic.

lol. ^^ Desperately trying to save face and pivot now.

Checkmate bitch.

You’re totally right. Drafting Jake Long and Chad Henne that off-season is what turned that team around.

lol

Bengals had exactly 1 shitty season before that winning season.

1

Chiefs had 2

1 and 2 now equal many, apparently.

I can’t with you anymore. My stomach literally hurts from laughing.

Colts had 1 really bad season before 2012.

This board entertains me greatly.

Filled with idiots. But totally entertaining.

1 equals many and we can’t draft QBs because of our field.

Fucking love you rejects.

I list teams that have picked high then won and he goes on a mental posting tirade and moves the goal post to superbowls now.

Bottom line:
* Tanking means higher draft picks
* Higher draft picks means higher likelihood of better players
* Better players lead to better team
* If tanking doesn't lead to winning then it's complement statement of not tanking leads to winning must hold. But grey pubes doesn't understand basic logic.

It's so simple only an idiot would argue:

(paraphrasing)
"we don't know how those players would turn out so higher pick doesn't mean anything"

Lol.....you think teams play for participation trophies, champ?

Winning the Supebowl is every teams goal. Success is measured by winning....the SB is the ultimate win.

You’d have to be ridiculously idiotic to claim SBs don’t matter. But here we are.

How bout them 2008 Dolphins though? Dynasty. Tanking for Chad Henne. Amazing.

Imagine thinking the only reason the 2004 Steelers went 15-1 is because they went 6-10 in 2003.

To arrive at that conclusion you’d have ignore that they won 10 games in 2002 and 13 in 2001.

Yeah but they tanked. If you’re retarded.

lol keep spinning like a lunatic. We didn't tank, are we going to win the Superbowl then next year? I mean why else wouldn't we tank right? To win the superbowl because that is the ultimate goal right? Please tell us when we are going to win the superbowl so i can mark that on my calendar.

You live by the sword you die by the sword you idiot.

You don't tank to win the superbowl. You tank for a better draft pick which leads to a better team in the hopes of winning the SB. There is no guarantee in the NFL of the winning the SB, go talk to the Chiefs about that.

You are putting the SB as the bar and that bar cannot be guaranteed by either of our strategies. So it's pointless to make that the bar. The bar should be, how do we position this team to be successful and it starts with the draft. Great teams are built through the draft.

This is where you pivot and talk nomenclature or spelling mistakes or Doug Williams bc you can't go toe to toe with the genius.

End of thread.
