Not once have I ever said a high pick is equal to a low pick.
What I’ve said is picking high has not been a proven method of winning. Look around the league. The teams with year in, year out success have not spent a lot of time drafting in the top 10.
Prove me wrong.
* 1988 Bengals
* 1992 Cowboys
* 1998 Colts
* 1999 Rams
* 2004 Steelers
* 2008 Dolphins
* 2012 Colts
* 2013 Chiefs
If a bad organization isn't able to win despite getting high picks every year, that doesn't mean the high pick is bad. It just means that's a shitty organization.
But since you love trends so much...This organization hasn't been able to find a QB in 30 years. Lets never draft a QB then...? Durrr.
