Well for Philly he is gonna be costly no matter what. Trading is better for them.
For the other team. Mid 20's is cheap for a starting QB. problem is Does any one think Wentz is a plug & play starting QB.
Because Mid 20 mil for a back up no one's gonna trade for, or even a groom & eventually be a starter. No one is gonna give draft capital for that.
right. exactly. no ones gonna trade for him to be a back up anyways, just doesnt happen.........but for a starter....hes cheap. Just pointing out the contract is actually enticing, not a negative factor.
That's making an assumption it's only going to cost a team 20M?
Yes Philly is screwed on this one. Personally I see Philly holding onto him. Until he sits out.
whats going to make it cost alot more

Yep! It all depends on what the coach thinks of wentz & his belief in him.
Which lets be honest. Wont be an easy sell. Doesnt look good that he will be traded.

You just can't tell? Will the team need to throw in a cheap player or two? Or draft picks? Trade and sign? You never know? $20M is attractive for a quality starter. I don't think Wentz is a quality starter?
Maybe a change of scenery can change that?
So again depending on what needs to be packaged to make this happen has me saying just back away.

It's the entire deal. Not just his current contract. What will a team offer or not? No one knows?

Yeah, Stafford would be the hottest commodity out there if he moves on. The dude can ball out.
He's no Brady but I think he could do well in a NE system? If he would take a discount to play in NE with the current talent, available cap space next year and draft picks it could make NE a contender overnight IHMO.

Just the fact that he wants out of Philly, after that franchise stuck behind this Brittle Bitch, shows what a malcontent he is. Say what you want about Trubs, he handled his benching very professionally, bode his time and now back as a starter going 2-0. Wentz blew this year, leading the league in t/o"s and thinks he should start somewhere else, this entitled ginger?

Agreed. Top 5 arm talent in the game, imo. Stuck in the quagmire that is the Lions.

Yep and Mariota another example. By all accounts, he was a model team mate after Tannehill took over and a lot of Titans players said he was a big factor in them beating Lamar in the playoffs because he worked his butt off on the scout team showing them Lamar's tendencies. Alex Smith a great mentor. Fitzmagic willing to do what he has to. Tons of examples of starters willing to do what's best for the team and actually work hard to get back.

Exactly who does he think he is or accomplished to start pouting publicly like a ****. Guy has only played in 1 playoff game and went 1-4 for 3 yards, pathetic , yet he sports a SB ring because of Foles

Okay so who else here thinks Wentz is vastly overrated, overpaid and mostly un-tradable?

The first two, definitely but not sure on the untradeable part. There are teams out there who might view him as a plan B pick up or take a flyer thinking he's fixable. This leak by his agent hurts him though. Makes him look weak.

The leak and what are his cap hits? Would a team be paying starter fees for back up quality?
