Not as much as we were hearing from the press etc. Then too, other than Watson or Stafford I don't see many of these guys going for the asking price we have been hearing. Really I don't see Watson going anywhere. He is too you young to give up on right now. They just have to find a way to work it out. This could be good or bad for our division. But it should have a positive effect on what a team is willing to settle for
olts acquired Carson Wentz from the Eagles in exchange for a 2021 third-round pick and conditional 2022 second-round pick.
The conditional second-rounder becomes a first-round pick if Wentz plays 75 percent of the snaps or 70 percent and the team makes the playoffs. The Eagles will also take on $33.8 million in dead-money cap penalties, the largest number in league history for one player. It's a far cry from the "multiple firsts" GM Howie Roseman was in the market for, but clearly the organization's best offer on the table after the Bears reportedly lost interest. Fresh off a season in which he led the league in fumbles, interceptions, and sacks taken and benched accordingly after 12 games, Wentz, 28, will have an opportunity to start anew with a supporting cast that's already built to contend. Jalen Hurts meanwhile will likely open the fantasy year as a top-10 option at his position barring an insurgence of another quarterback with the No. 6 overall pick.

I thought Rivers did a good job last season as well. How long can they hold together that defense? The trade is about right . Wentz will do well in Indy
Doug had the no win scenario and he unsurprisingly lost. Fole's lit up the crowd and inspired the team to win it's first championship. The Eagles had simply too much tied up in Wentz and couldn't afford to keep Foles. 20-20 hindsight, Foles would have been the better keep. Wentz turned out to be the porcelain princess everyone was afraid of and he didn't inspire the team. Doug was fucked.Center Ice, let me ask you....If there were fans in the stands, would Doug has survived the QB stunt he pulled?
A mistake all too many are willing to repeat here in DCDoug had the no win scenario and he unsurprisingly lost. Fole's lit up the crowd and inspired the team to win it's first championship. Will also be a good change of scenery for Wentz but might look strange in that Colts uni.The trade is about right . Wentz will do well in Indy
Absolutely on point! The pandemic has now forced this and teams appear to be adjusting to that cap by taking the hit now as a one time injection of pain in order to start over their rebuild. For D.C. the choices don't change, they are: sign some 2nd tier guys or that one big ticket guy. For me that's an easy choice. An ok deal for the colts if Reich can turn Wentz around. If wentz plays 75% of snaps but sucks because the colts dont have any other competition at qb, then its a bad deal for the colts.
In other news, with a $38m cap hit, the eagles are going to have to release a lot of players to get under the cap.
Eagles will get a high draft pick in 2022 after going 2-14 this season, and 0-8 outside the division.olts acquired Carson Wentz from the Eagles in exchange for a 2021 third-round pick and conditional 2022 second-round pick.

That's one way of looking at it.
And we did it with RG 3 too. People never learn
