I agree and the Defense is better as well. This is Fishers best equipped Rams team top to bottom if he can't win with this team he is not going to be around much longer. I'm not saying the Rams will make the playoffs but I'm betting they will be much more fun to watch this season. and lets face it....anything can happen in the NFL. One week at a time. Tonight beat the 9ers, that's it. Worry about the next game next week.

I don't even have a "net worth" to bet,:pound: but we will know after the first drive whether or not Fisher has his team ready to play or not. The Rams have had 10 days to prepare for this game, if they come out flat and can't protect Case and are getting flagged on every other play we will know what we have is just another unprepared Fisher team. Screw it I'm cracking open a beer, now I'm getting worried. :suds:

Okay, so let's look at this a little deeper.

We had 4 games last year that had a call or play gone this way or that, we had a good chance at winning. Had we won them all, we would have won 11 games. In most of those games, we had poor QB play, mostly rookie or second year guys on the O line, no Todd Gurley for the first 4 games and an OC who was fired.

This year, I think we have the best group of QB's we've had since Warner/Bulger. Todd Gurley is starting Week 1, and let's not forget the addition by subtraction by ousting Cookie. Robinson's looked good. Britt looks solid and could be set up for his best year ever. Tavon will be featured a lot more. Higbee had a great rookie preseason, so look for good things from him, and Cooper has shined too as both a WR and with ST's.

I'll go on record right now and say that the Rams' offense is much better and will improve over last year.

I'm going to throw some reality in here...

1) Which QB is in Warner or even Bulger's class? I agree it's a decent group of QBs with some upside and that it's better than we've had in a long time, but Warner?

2) Rams offense should be better. It was last place so it has nowhere to go but up..

Defense is better?

LBs kind of scare me. CBs outside Tru scare me. Not sure about this 4-2-5 defense we are rolling out, especially against good running attacks.

It is no secret I always preferred Wentz, but I'm not going to make snap judgements after week one of their rookie careers.

:agree:

I am on record prior to the draft as wanting Wentz too after the stupid trade up to get one or the other, but much like the trade up, what's done is done. (Besides, prior I didn't really see a significant difference between the two)

Also I wont hyper react to the current situations of these two teams and current roles of the No. 1 & No. 2 QB's draft selections.

Rams are in a win now situation and the Eagles have a 3 year window. Of course you let the guy learn on the job if you are Philly Coach, if you can hose another desperate team.

So I just think, it will probably take several years to make an astute judgement and I'll wait until then.

As for now, I'm good with our teams decisions regarding QB.

Man SJ, I've heard you tapping on others regarding reading comprehension but you may have just skimmed this prior to your reply.

1.) I said since Warner/Bulger, which wouldn't include Warner/Bulger. :L

2.) The subject was the Rams' offense, not the Rams' offensive standing in the NFL. :L

They will do better than this....

Curious as to why you think Philly has a 3 year window? Because usually the coach isn't going to lose his job after year 1? I would say who knows to that - 1 bad year and a rookie coach can get tossed. The Eagles had the same record as the Rams. They have a solid defense, pretty good RBs, and above average WRs, good TEs.. They also gave up some picks just like the Rams.

These 2 organizations are in very similar spots right now.

What, do you need me to define the word intervening for you now, or do you just need me to send you a freaking dictionary?
