That's my usual plan, but that game was more than I could take. It was the capper on a terrible weekend of sports for me (Orange destroyed by Louisville, Bills looked apathetic at best, Rams look like they weren't aware there was a game this week). At least the Dodgers won Monday night, lol.

He probably set a record for the most punts ever in a single game

Nah, that seems to be a NY record:

14 - Jets vs Browns 1986 (OT)
13 - Giants vs Bears 1933
13 - Colts vs Raiders 1977
12 - Giants vs Niners 2011

Hekker's 10 come up a bit short.

too bad they don't play the Browns, cause he could break the record then.

Just got done watching a replay of the Philadelphia game last week. Two things you can't teach: Precision and Poise. Wentz had both in that game. When we moved up to the number one overall pick, I thought, the Rams are going to select the wrong guy. Wentz is going to be a good one. He already looks pretty darn good.

And he's big! Can take some hits. He fell into the perfect spot with their coaching staff. But he will be tested this week against the steelers.

Wentz had another huge day against Pittsburgh. He has thrown NO INTs in 99 straight passes. This kid is proving everyone wrong.

Agreed, he's been VERY impressive!!! Can't wait to see what Goff can do once he's ready to go!!!

It's not a sprint, but a marathon..Wentz has def played great so far, but we still haven't seen what Goff can do... I'm not worried as long as Keenum plays well and lets Goff sit and learn the NFL game properly...

He played great. Didn't see the game, so I'm judging by stats. What happened to the Steelers, lol?

Wentz has been playing like a veteran doing things I have not seen from a rookie before. I am sure some have done it but no one that has played for the Eagles. It appears he is student of the game and spends an obscene amount of time studying film. That is a deadly combination considering how smart he is and his wonderlic score was really good to. He is extremely prepared for games.

I picked the Steelers to win a close game. I was wrong. It appears they have a hard time getting to the QB and do not blitz much. Tomlin mentioned they hoped to confuse him with a lot of different zone looks. Things he would not have seen before. I think they underestimated him. Then again so did a lot of us. I know I did. He was brilliant against the Steelers and had a good number of drops that would have made his numbers even more gaudy. The stats do not tell the whole picture in that game he was even better than the stats.

I think going forward it will get harder for him. Teams have dared him to beat them by not blitzing and he has. I expect he will see a lot more blitzes than he has thus far. I am looking forwared to the game against the Vikings to see how he fares against a really outstanding defense.
