Yeah.. No way would they go MWC. I don't see NBC or ESPN handing out an independent deal for them either.. Would CBS since they are out with the SEC? Maybe

Yeah, they wouldn't go to the MWC for football for sure, but I could see it for basketball and the "non-revenue producing sports".

But that would only be if the PAC decided that if they can't have USC for football, they don't want them for any sport which I doubt would happen.

As for a tv deal, I think they could get one worked out. It may not be a national contract like Notre Dame with NBC...but I'd bet they could get a local/regional one with CBS, FOX or ABC/ESPN.

USC has always scheduled well OOC. They would have the rivalry games with Notre Dame, UCLA and probably Stanford every season. They are usually up for one of the early season neutral site games with some of the other big boys.

Between the rivalries and a neutral site game, that would leave them with 8 games to schedule. They shouldn't have too much trouble putting together a good schedule that networks would want to broadcast. Teams will want the opportunity to recruit California. I expect there would be some PAC schools looking to schedule them as much as possible as well, especially those that are outside California.

As I've said, end of the day, I don't think they'll leave the PAC, but if they did, I think going independent would be there best option.

Probably a bigger slice of the pie for every school in the B12. So that.
Unfortunately, that is the name of the game nowadays. If it weren't the B1G wouldn't have invited Rutgers. Quality of programs don't matter. The $$$$$ does.

How many conference championships in football do the two Zona schools have between them since they joined the PAC.
The two Zona schools joined the PAC in 1978 and they have a grand total of two PAC conference football championships between them (1986 & 1996 ASU).

Those two schools are good in several sports including wrestling & hockey (ASU). When it comes to football that's a different story all together.

Washington State which is located out in the middle of nowhere (literally) has two PAC football conference championships since the two Zona schools joined the PAC including one in 2002. That equals the combined PAC football championships the two Zona schools have won since joining the conference back in '78.

Then there was that one time that having no class proved to be a good thing.

The Sunny Devils need to get someone like this guy.

That said, I have to admit old Herm has done a lot better than I thought he would. I was 100% wrong about him.

Football pays the bills not to mention the two Zona schools are no longer in the WAC racking up wins in football.
You asked what do they contribute. Just showing ya. Obviously Football both schools don’t have conference titles. But to say to get rid of them from a fan of an athletic program that is equal or beneath them is hilarious.

Kush was a great coach other than that one time he went all Woody Hayes like on his punter. He new how to win that's for sure. Best coach in ASU history.
