Ravens will a have problem with ball security and the Broncos have 3-4 long - clock eating drives.

I don't know what to make of this Broncos team. Yes they are improving, but I am not really sure how much. They were downright lucky to beat the Jets. The Raiders, Saints and Panthers are the worst three teams in the NFL right now. Tampa is the only quality win and Tampa isn't all that good even when healthy so outside of that win the Broncos have lost to all the other even decent teams. I just don't think they are quite ready to beat good teams yet but I hope Mingo's right and they pull out a win. If Lamar is limited it would go a long way.

I'll say this about this week's game. Back when the schedule came out I expected an up and down offense due to our rookie QB, but that it would overall be better than it has been. I also voiced a lot of skepticism about our defense.

While the offense has been up and down, the learning curve appears to be higher than I expected. And it's still a better unit than last year's by a long shot. Then of course the defense has been arguably the best in the league. Which is so exciting.

All this to say back when the schedule came out I gave us no shot at all of winning this game. And I still am inclined to give the Ravens the edge here. But how awesome is it that the team has shown enough progress across the board we are even discussing the possibility of an upset? I think that is a testament to how far this team has come in just one season.

That Ravens defense has some strong points, but this is also a game Nix can put up some yards through the air. Our WRs have got to do their part though. The Ravens can score so this is going to be a huge test for our defense. It's nice to be excited about it, rather than worrying about how many points our D was going to allow.

I think the Broncos can pull the upset with a 24-16 win.

As much as I want to believe in our young team, I can just as easily see this happening too.

I still see this week's game as a loss. I may have felt differently had the Ravens not lost to the Browns. They're pissed and playing at home. I think this is a tough game for our squad. Hoping for a competitive game where we have a chance but I think we leave Baltimore at 5-4. Hope I'm wrong. Go Broncos!

I think the Broncos have as great mind set as a team right now - they don't know they aren't supposed to win a game like this. That makes them dangerous. to the Ravens.

Alex Palczewski IMO is why we can run the Football the games he was in we were averaging good gains . Mike McGlinchey is not sure he can Go I hope he cant. If I was Staff I would pull him and go with someone Healthy .If Alex Palczewski dominated like the last games he played at RT I would trade McGlinchey even if I had to pay some of his pay this year.

Huh? I like Palc as much as anyone but this forum is so weird about McGlinchey. Sure, we overpaid him but like a broken record when you SUCK ass a the time spend a ton on a QB and your OL sucks that is what you have to do to get better. McGlinchey has allowed 1 sack all year and his run blocking grade has improved each week. The offense has run the ball much better since he returned from IR and his grade is solid. Last week's lack of a run game wasn't on McGlinchey, where are you coming up with this stuff???? His overall grade is 18th among OT's. Now, the grading scale isn't all that meaningful to me because of the way they grade especially the DB position but if any position is about as accurate to how they actually grade it would be OL to me. I love Palc and I am fine with him starting and he is way cheaper then McGlinchey but you can't say McGlinchey sucks and Palc is great. Sure, I think Alex is worthy of starting for way cheaper but people need to quit saying McGlinchey sucks just because we overpaid him. He doesn't suck he is overpaid and he is playing fine right now. I feel like a broken record when talking about McGlinchey on this board but people are so dramatic over his play based on his contract. He is still way better then what we have had at RT and he isn't "shit" like so many people claim to think. Call him overpaid, sure.... But also pay attention to the NFL a bit here and realize the situation we were in when we had to pay him. It bothers me how so many people can complain for years how bad our OL sucks and then when we over pay someone because we "have to get better" at one of the most important positions everyone whines about that. Alex Palczewki's don't grow on the apple tree in Dove Valley or any other city for that matter. Sure it would have been nice now to have McGlinchey's contract a little easier to handle or get rid of had we know Palczewski was going to be here two years later but you just simply can't grab one of the better OT prospects in free agency without giving him the contract we gave him. McGlinchey's contract suggest he should be an elite OT and he isn't but people can't seem to grasp that we knew that when we signed him. I promise you everyone on the Broncos staff knew we overpaid him simply because we had to given our situation at OT at the time and it isn't like we gave a crummy OT top notch money. He isn't playing as bad as so many of you think, he is just overpaid and we knew that when we signed him Why all the surprise???? Yes, we could be saving a crap load of money with Palczweski starting and no McGlinchey but it wasn't like we looked into our crystal ball and had undrafted OT steal on our bingo card at the time.

Am I allowed to say "AMEN!" at this moment? Palc did fine when called upon for those few weeks without McGlinchey but it was noticeable that McGlinchey was missing. Palc didn't play good enough to cause the team to stick with him when McGlinchey got healthy. He was like a backup QB that doesn't go out and win games but doesn't actively hurt your chances of winning either.

McGlinchey has been huge for the run game when he has started. That is his strength and as you said the run game struggling last week was far from him being the reason. The Broncos right now have 2 of the worst RB's in football when it comes to vision. There is a stat out there of expected yards per carry which is based on how well the play is blocked. Broncos are top-10 in that category but yet their RB's are bottom-10 in yards they should pick up. In fact there was a game where they were negative yards gained in that category. They got less than what the play was blocked for on a regular basis. It is why the Broncos are calling around about finding a RB and why I hope Tyler Badie can get healthy in a hurry. He was the one RB that looked like he had some vision in the little time he got this year.

No surprise here:
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to practice on Friday and told reporters he'll be ready to play on Sunday against the Denver Broncos.

"Yeah, 100 percent," Jackson said. "That wasn't in doubt. Just resting the body, you know. It's a long season. That's all."

Jackson missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday and appeared on the Ravens' injury report with a back and neck issue. Head coach John Harbaugh labeled the quarterback's absence on Wednesday as a rest day.

Through eight games this season, Jackson has thrown for 2,099 yards and 17 touchdowns with two interceptions for the 5-3 Ravens

I can’t stand Lil J. Such a waste of a roster room and let go of Brandon Johnson for him. So dumb.
