Such bullshit. That's a HUGE swing and then they have the gall to penalize Sherman on top of it? These refs are out of fucking control.

Similar to baseball with the strike zone, I can't take the NFL seriously until you can challenge penalties. Sure fine, penalize Sherman, he did remove his helmet, but the interception should've stood.

I agree, You should be able to use your challenges on penalties as well ... Why not ? You only have so many challenges a game so if you used them over something stupid it's too risky, lose a timeout and lose a challenge... NFL would be better for it... Refs would also be held more accountable... It's a no brainer... These NFL refs are fucking flag happy so far this year, it's annoying as #@$^@#$^ ....

the PI call on Sherman was very dodgy. I hate calls when a receiver goes straight into the defender like that. But Sherman needs to keep his cool.

I generally am a pass first guy but I think it's time to give the rock to the running backs and bully that D.

I get being mad, but be mad at the right person. No reason Sherman should take his helmet off. Doing that cost them 15 yards. It's bad enough they negated an INT, but he flat out gave them field position in a defensive struggle type of game. It's inexcusable and entirely predictable given his inability to control himself and act like a professional.

Those 3 points are squarely on Sherman.

I wish our offense was as proficient as Sherman's mouth, although watching the replay of the the play in question I cannot see anything that Sherman said which would draw a Unsportsmanlike penalty. He did not say the F word from what I saw. And it looks like another game where we have to overcome not only the Titans but ourselves with all these penalties.

This isn't xbox and football isn't played in a vacuum. I would guess the defense is making adjustments and daring us to throw and it's the right call for them. If you look, are they sticking 8 in the box? It's far too simplistic to suggest they should be running on a given down without knowing what the defense is showing.
