They have shown they play hard for him and Adams and Crosby both want him. I think Davis already has an idea if he wants him or not.

Meh. Not so sure about that. Losing his last two with his “job” being evaluated would be rough for him imo. If he loses this one I am guessing he won’t be hired for the job. If he wins it I like his chances.

If the Raiders win today - hiring the interm coach on a make good contract - will be good PR and would help the Raiders retire some old coaching debt still out there.

Agree- Like I said if Pierce wins today I think he has the job and is a cheap hire for them and a well liked guy within his team.

If he ends the season losing to the Colts and the Broncos then I think it is way more up in the air. Winning today is huge for him, IMO.

He does, but Jarrett Stidham is not Drew Brees. He’s not even Jameis Winston.

Stidham‘s having a much better game than you think he is. The Offense definitely has problems but Stidham isn’t the issue.

Stidham isn’t the answer clearly, but he played on par with Wilson(despite Russ having a healthy O-Line all year yet Stidham was stuck with Fleming trying to guard Max Crosby) yet cost $40 million less per year. When there's no difference in your $10 million guy and your $250 million guy you a problem and it’s not all on the Offense.

Statistically he was much worse than Wilson and the offense averaged 6 points less per game with Stidham than Wilson. That’s not “on par.”

That he is astronomically cheaper does not even remotely put him within the same stratosphere as Russ in terms of ability.

Jarrett Stidham is not an NFL QB.
