Playoffs looking preeeeety god.

At 7-6 we are #7 currently. To miss the playoffs one of these teams will have to pass us:
Miami 5-6
Indy - 5-7
Cincy - 4-7

And we play Indy and Cincy and could basically knock them out of the picture with wins over them.

(I think I’m right, but don’t bet the house)

I just finished the game. Glad to get the dub, and see Nix play well with a little luck go his way.

But McMillan I want to punch in the face. Almost every reception for a first down is on him, and I'm sick of it.
I was looking for that energy during the game

Anyone else see Sean Payton sprinting for the end of the game handshake? The dude is charged up about this win.

Game Balls:

Will Lutz - his goal posts could be 5 feet apart last night and he still would have hit all 5.
Bo Nix - This dude will not lose a game - if he were basketball player - all his minutes are plus.
D -Coaches - The Broncos shut down an actual TE for once. Surtain and Jones bottled him up.
Mims - Marvelous Marvin - is emerging as Sean Payton's joker - and he is doing well.
Sutton - my man - one his way to earning his bonus compensation agreement from last spring.
Nicky B - double digits in sacks - and a strip sack on top of it.
Randy Moss - some nice pass breakups - injury appears to be relatively minor (thank goodness).

Most likely we would have lost that game last year. We found ways to lose games... This team is finding ways to win those types of games now.

I think you could even argue that earlier in the season we found ways to lose games like this. I think of that Seattle game where we were in the Raiders situation. Everything was breaking our way and yet at halftime we were barely winning. I was excited we were winning, but the fact that so much went our way and we barely got any points out of it made me nervous.

Then Seahawks did to us what we did to the Raiders today of when the luck runs out and it comes down to talent on the field we came up short. This team really has come a long ways in just 12 quick weeks.

Definitely struggling at times this year. I would love to see Abrams-Draine pick up some snaps next year.

Of this list Miami scares me the most. Getting Tua back we saw them go on a tear last year so it wouldn't shock me to see them win most of their remaining games. It also isn't like their remaining schedule is all that hard. Tough one this week against Green Bay who is playing lights out so we should all become big Green Bay fans for Thursday!. @ Houston is the other difficult one still remaining but Houston has been falling off a cliff lately. San Fran if they get healthy could be a tough one, but we shall see if that will be the case.

But like you said nice thing is Broncos can control their own destiny with the game after the bye against the Colts and then heading to Cincy.

I woke up with a sour taste in my mouth.

Off today.
Probably shouldn't sleep with jolly ranchers in your mouth. Real choking hazard.

The defense did an excellent job on Bowers....Minshew has been relying on him a lot this season. That was a key to the game....Meyers played well and Tre Tucker did also but if Bowers had played lights out.....we MIGHT have had a shot at a win.

I really like Tucker's potential. I think that was a big reason they didn't mind trading Adams. Adams older and wanted out....

And your defense played really well.....our OL has regressed (it wasn't this bad last season) and we gotta fix that in the offseason. 5 sacks....SMH.

I will say though the Broncos have been embarrassing a lot of OL's this year. And most of those sacks didn't come until the game was pretty much decided with the Broncos up 10 points. Really your OL did about as good as any team this year that I can remember at least for the first half of the game. Got your run game going a bit (not sure why they went away from that so quickly in the 2nd half) and there were a lot of plays that Minshew had 5 seconds to scan the field and make a decision.

cdumler, I understood the decision to let JJ walk (he wanted to get paid and we had Zeus and got Mattiison as a bargain FA)....but damn....if we had him this season might have been a little different.....maybe.....Mattison has been alright but after showing flashes of potential? Zamir "Zeus" White has flamed out. He might be able to recover next season and play well but I kind of doubt it. JJ is on my FF team and has been absolutely killing it.

Kind of like if Dallas had signed Henry (although we don't have a QB like Dak).
