At least the nice thing for you is it should be a very active offseason. Possibly new head coach, lots of cap money to spend, and a top-5 pick heading your way. Not the best news for sure, but at least trying to get a positive from the situation. Us Bronco fans have been there the last 8 years of trying to find the positive in a horrible situation.
I get it.

We need to go sign Jones or Tanneyhill....no way we can trot Ridder out there vs KC....he is horrible.....and nort sure when AOC returns from the fractured thumb. It was supposed to be 4-6 weeks.....and Carter Bradley (kid on the PS) has never thrown a pass in the NFL.

I would agree on no way you can start Ridder. Wow that was horrible the few snaps he did get.

Honestly crazy to think what this division will be for the next say 10-years. Mahomes not going anywhere, Herbert looking good with Harbaugh, and now Nix emerging with Payton. Raiders find their QB and no telling how this division will shake out. Going to be some epic battles for sure.

Yeah, IMO Ridder is not even a good backup, a #3 is really where he should be....

I agree.....and if we don't draft a QB (I really don't want a youngster to develop, not with Crosby in his prime) I could see us going after somebody like RW, maybe Darnold....might be silly but I am not a fan of tanking or rebuilding. I always want to try and compete right away.

Yeah, Ridder is fixing to be out of the NFL before long. Probably bounce around a bit since he has a smidge of starting experience but this is probably his last go on a 53 to start out the season.

I will just say this.....if the Steelers do an about face and let RW walk....let him come to Vegas and we can see you guys next season.....and see how much he has left in the tank. He would be an upgrade over Jimmy G, Minshew, AOC, Ridder.....we would just need a RB and tinker with the OL and some on the defense with all our salary cap space and draft picks....maybe add a #1 receiver also.

I think RW is still a top 12-13 QB in the League.
I'd rather have Minshew... today.

The reality is that the Raiders are a year or two behind the Broncos in a rebuild approach. They need to solidify coaching, hit on critical draft picks and get a damn QB. As we know all too well......that is easier said than done and takes time. I'm okay with the Raiders being the floor mat for a few years but my focus is more about catching the Chiefs and re-capturing Broncos supremacy.

Good luck DJ. You're a good dude but we're sorry that your team doesn't live up to expectations (currently).

What’s up with Zach Allen health?
From Denver Post today:
“Payton had a positive, if brief, update regarding defensive lineman Zach Allen on Monday. Allen missed the game with a heel injury that cropped up during practice Friday. He wore a boot during the game and watched from the sideline, but Payton said Monday it doesn’t appear to be a long-term injury.

“We should be fine there,” Payton said. “I’m not going to hit any injuries today, but we should be fine there.”

O'Connell is suppose to return soon. I wouldn't bother with Jones or Tannehill. You aren't going anywhere this year and they aren't your future QB.

Maybe they let him sit against the Browns and couple it with the buy week. It would be good to ensure his health.
