Worst officiating crew in the NFL with Rd Hocule. The officials can't count, can't get into position.
If I were Belichick, I'd take the team off the field.

Needed Brady's "A" game in this one - got his "C" game today. Better take it out on the Chargers next week.

LOL. I wasn't thrilled with the officiating either, At least Belichick got them to retract at least one bad call. Still not the reason the Pats lost.

That was an indication of how this game would be called.

Regardless, what was up with the play calling? The best way to win the game was get the running game going and keep Rodgers off the field. They ran the ball only 18 times but had 4.7yds/run. They needed to run the ball much more.

I feel exactly the same about the gameplan, they out gameplanned themselves,3rd & 8 run blount twice they call a pass & brady gets sacked & then miss a FG. Smh

The problem was: They should have opened the game throwing all over the place. Green Bay has the 30th ranked rushing defense: It was a no brainer, Pats needed to do what GB didn't expect... and that 's chuck it all over the field.

Josh McDaniels is no Charlie Weis. Weis would have scripted 10-15 consecutive pass plays.

It was a dam good game. Sucks that the Pats lost but I think they should be able to win their remaining games and have HF advantage through the playoffs

Team didn't lose this game, the coaches did.

Gray ran the ball once. Every time LaBlount carried the ball he got positive yardage. Even Bolden was doing a good job. So what did the staff do? They passed the ball into the strength of the Green Bay defense. To me, this was Belichick saying "I can beat your best by testing your best".

So...instead of running the ball down their collective throats, the Pats try to pass. Result? Down 13-0. They get a TD and then they try to play play a cutsie game. Logan Ryan on a 265 lb TE. Alfonzo Dennard on Randall Cobb.

Mike McCarthy still has a hard on and he didn't take Cialis.

To the untrained eye people are blaming it on Brady not having an "A" game. That's stupid. He didn't need an "A" game. He needed a running game to suck the defense up to the line of scrimmage and then throw the ball 25 yards downfield. On defense is where the game was truly lost.........14 plays of 24 yards or more......nuff said.

I agree. When they ran it was almost 5 yards a carry so why run just 18 times when the idea is to keep Rodgers off the field.

You're spot on.

What was needed was more Gray and Blount.

The Packers got a handful of really big plays on offense. The Pats offense was not very good. The Pats defense struggled all game. Crappy officiating(not the reason they lost). It was in Green Bay where everybody loses.

And they were still in a position to win at the end. I'm bummed they lost but at least this takes the "Pats are best in NFL" out of the headlines for a while. Hopefully they learn from this and if they are fortunate enough to play Green Bay once more this year I do not think they'll make the same mistakes.

Green Bay was capable of stuffing the run when they needed to/when it was obvious. Reference the stuff on Blount for no gain at the end of the first series. That set the tone for the first half.

1) you are correct
2) way too much holding
3) Our O-line collectively was a little banged up
3) most importantly, BB was outcoached. Has to happen occasionally. It's a good loss for all.
The Packers had a better game plan defensively and offensively. I thought the 4 1/2 yards on 3rd and 5 told the story. Edelman was being hit before the 5 yards and held short of first down catch. Same for others. Their defense was just good enough for the hot offense at home to win.

It was 5 points people. See you in the playoffs!
