Fountain City Blues
Love Everybody
I liked him out here too. He kind of got lost in the roster upheaval post 2012.49ers signed him off the streets last year..he has been a solid player and really impressed me last year filling in for Hyde

If Osweiler doesn't feel pressure better this year, I give it 8 weeks before Savage gets at least one spot start.
Nope- saw a half season of a QB that was a dear in headlights when it came to sensing pressure. I just don't talk Osweiler 24/7 on the Hoop just like I don't nitpick Alex's averageness 24/7. But if we want to talk about QB's, just what on Earth do you think Sanchez is? Osweiler's sack rate was around 10% which is an impressively awful number for any QB regardless of the O-line. Can't sense the pressure. It's one preseason game. Geez you should worry about that average Alex Smith. The Denver Broncos the defending Super Bowl Champs. Peace.
No surprise so far that Shane Lechlar is the Texans' offensive MVP.

He's a great punter.
So Kelly's 80 play offense is in mid season form?49ers commentators are excited about 300 yards of offense in this half.....but won't mention the 10 points which is awful for a 300+ yard offensive half
As far as Osweiler goes ....
remember, the last two seasons the Texans have had Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mallett, Brian Hoyer, etc at quarterback and still managed to put together back-to-back 9-7 seasons.
Way too early to push the panic button on the Osweiler as QB experiment, all things taken into consideration.
40 years old and might still be the best in the league.
Yes, showing poise and a nice arm.Savage is playing pretty well.
Looks that way right now, but it's only preseason besides hindsight is 20/20They could have signed a veteran backup and just gone with Savage as the starter......rather than paying Osweiler 72 million.
