Nebraska is 2-3, that sucks... it really does. But the coaching staff is trying to turn things around. This Wisconsin game is HUGE for a variety of reasons... one... if we lose this we drop to 2-4 and that may just ruin the season... two... it's a HUGE visitor weekend for future recruits. Here are some of the names that will be here:
2016 Recruits
Patrick O'Brien (4-Star QB) - O'Brien is a current commit and his having an amazing senior season. Getting him here will really lock down his commitment.
Ben Stille (3-Star DE) - Current commit for the class... good looking DE prospeect.
John Raridon (4-Star OG) - Without a doubt Nebraska's #1 recruit will finally take an official. It's great to get him on campus, a high rated kid rubbing shoulders with some other players that aren't sure yet is never a bad thing.
Jaleel Laguins (4-Star LB) - Laguins has already visited Nebraska once but Bray talked him into using an OV to see the stadium on game day. Laguins is currently committed to UGA (home state team) so this is a long shot but getting him on campus again could do wonders.
Boe Wilson (3-Star C) - Wilson is a late addition, current commit. Injured this season.
Isaiah Simmons (4-Star S) - Simmons has been quiet in his recruitment but things are good between he and the Huskers. Nebraska would LOVE to have him be a part of this class and this visit could go a long way for that to happen.
C.J. Riley (3-Star WR) - the 6'4" 180 lb WR likes Nebraska and has some connections to the state. Huskers are looking to add a big bodied receiver to compliment Grimm and Spielman in this class.
2017 Recruits
Tristan Gebbia (4-Star QB) - Gebbia loves Nebraska and has already visited once. He is being recruited by the who's who of College football right now as well and this will be his second visit to Nebraska on his own dime. He is obviously Nebraska's #1 QB target for the 2017 class... teammate with fellow visitors below.
Keyshawn Johnson Jr. (4-star WR) - This will be Johnson's third or fourth trip to Lincoln. He loves Mike Riley because his dad LOVES Mike Riley.
Darnay Holmes (5-Star WR) - Holmes is the wild card of the bunch. He is visiting with his teammates Gebbia and Johnson but has stated he likes Pac-12 football. Perhaps the idea that they could all play together at Nebraska could sway him.
2018 Recruits
Cameron Jurgens (4-Star ATH) - current Husker commit
