When time permits, you all take a look at some tape on Cam Ward, QB Washington State. He is not getting a lot of talk but looks pretty good to me.
Cam is better than people are giving him credit for.
That said, he struggles with decision making and his stats are padded with a lot of quick screens.
He could use anotheryear at college but he will get drafted later and then need a year to develop?

One other little oddity.

Penix and Bo are both going to be 24 when the draft comes.

Personally, I don't think that should be a hangup. If anything, they should be a bit more mature and their bodies are pretty much done with growing and settling.

Pick would be in before Roger got done hugging the prior pick.

Calvin Johnson was on that 0-16 team his rookie year then they brought in...The guy that went to LA...I think.
My opinion...I just don't see this years top college QB's being top NFL QB's.
But MHJ is an almost lock.

And at this point You would be better than Mac.
Was Calvin Johnson ever not on an 0-16 team? Every night in his prayers he thanks god for keeping the NFL at 16 games until after he retired.

Lot of 2024 Draft talk picking up in other team forums, especially Broncos.

They all seem to be ticked off because the Broncos won't make the playoffs and yet keep winning enough to push themselves into the late teens.

Seems that there are alt of questions about Penix and his ability to play in the NFL after multiple surgeries.

1. Right ACL
2. Right shoulder AC
3. Second Right ACL

Sounds like someone is trying to devalue the young man.

Sounds like a typical BB pick. Start the season on IR. Miss the entire year. Comes in year 2 just to fizzle out. Oh how I can't wait.

The goal is to pick last, not almost last.

If not, then you want first.

Right shoulder isn't his throwing arm.
Penix;
"again the following year, and suffered a season-ending AC separation in his throwing shoulder a few weeks after returning from his second ACL tear.

Devalue? According to your post he's had three surgeries two on the same ACL?

Anybody watch the Heisman Award last night???

Watching the backgrounds of te four finalist, Jalen Daniels, Michael Pnix, Bo Nix and Marvin Harrison Jr., I've come away totally convinced that Bo Nix should be the first choice of the Patriots. This guy is not only a quarterback, he's an offensive tactician. He's strudied offensive plays, diagramed them and then changed them to fit the the guys on the teams he's quarterbacked. That and he's done it since middle school. Draft him as the quarterback and Offensive Coordinator.

Daniels won the trophy but Nix won my vote as the future QB of the NEP.

So the Pats should take a projected second rounder with the second pick?

Well, that’s better than last years take on selecting Stetson Bennett with our first round pick. He’s not even on the Rams active roster.

Or David Mills with our 1st round pick a few years ago. Because he watched him throw in the rain.

BK needs to stay away from the NFL draft.

Hey, he's as good as any of the first rounders they've taken over the past five years.

And I don't give a rat shit about what the ""experts"" project. we go through this every year. "They" project and suddenly they have all of this supposed knowledge. Find one that's hit 100% of his or her projected picks.

I think the guy has the ability and brains and I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks about what I think.

The guy has played at two major universities, Auburn and Oregon. He walked away from Auburn because the coach kept telling him that he had to be more like previous Auburn QBs. Jeremy Johnson? Dean White? Jerrad Stidham? Cam Newton?

How many of them threw for 4145 yards, 40 TDs 3 INTs 77.2% completion rate and had a 91.0 QB Rating?

Like I said, it's my opinion and I don't expect anyone to agree with it. "I" think he'd be perfect for the Patriots.
