Apparently your team needs a practice game and call it a victory to get ready. Why else schedule a trucking school as the second to last game? Imagine USC playing Cal State Fullerton before the final game . I can't because we don;t schedule OCC roadkill at the end of the season.

That's the thing. USC and every other major program not in the SEC has the late season games booked with conference and rivals. Seems Alabama is one of the few who wait around till Southern Georgia has enough bodies lined up and needs a paycheck.

Bye is not a trap game, neither is Western Carolina. You don't need to show up to beat bye or Western Carolina. You do have to show up to beat PAC schools or any other big 5 conference school late in the year.

Let's see. Which is tougher? Oregon having a bye before a big game or Alabama playing Western Carolina before a big game?

I'm going with Oregon's bye. After all, Oregon had to practice against Oregon.

Alabama's schedule has been formatted the same way for as long as I can remember. So I'm not surprised by the schedule format.

LOL, Bama last year cancelled a "home and home" series against Michigan State for 2015/2016. I sure hope that Bama won't cancel this 2016 game against USC. LSU has came west in the last 10 years. When was the last time Bama came out west. USC has scheduled many tough OOC games in the past. I would love Bama to come out West and play Oregon or USC in a home and home series. It would really make college football more interesting. Why is it that some of the PAC 12 teams have to travel to Texas to play Bama or LSU? I for one will be looking forward to the USC/Bama match in 2016.
