Under what circumstances should an SEC Champ not go to the NC Game?

This same tired thread appears every year and every year the undeserving team from the SEC beats the snot out of the supposedly best team in the country. If/When the SEC team loses in the NC game, maybe the argument makes sense.....until then; sorry...not buying it.
