God is an asshole.

I’m telling ye guys, Osborne made a deal with God in 1995. God said “you can let Lawrence play in the National Championship game, but if you do I will punish Nebraska football for 20 years following your retirement.”

God doesn’t like when guys drag chicks down the stairs by their hair. Fortunately, this is year 20. It all ends next year.

I heard it was because God wanted to call a play and T.O. wouldn't let him.

True story:
When my oldest was in junior high school one of his classes was studying Greek mythology. He had an assignment where he had to write an essay about a God.
His paper was titled "Tom Osborne, God of the Option Offense."
We lived in Iowa. His teacher was not amused. I laughed and hung up on her when she called to schedule a parent meeting with us about it.

What I'm trying to say is that derailing a teacher's educational system simply because you can. and then hanging up on someone simply because you can is not good practice when it comes to educating your kids. now I'm not a big believer in public or private school systems however if you are entrusting your kids to these teachers and deliberately go against the grain just to make waves then find a new school because all you are doing is wasting everyone's time.

Oh wait you didn't tell them how to educate you hung up on them.

Also Iowa rakes as #5 overall for public schools. #8 for higher education and #8 in pre k -12

Half the kids have little chance of anything out of their opportunity. They come from broken homes, being raised by grandma or aunt, one parent in prison, one or both parents on drugs or booze or the kid has mental health issues that are not addressed or the family can't afford the proper medical needs. The few that overcome all this are the lucky and determined ones.

Not really, more along the lines of "You do your job and I'll do mine "

I don't need a parent/teacher conference. Give the failing grade if he deserves it, that's what you get paid for, and I'll handle my end.
I just found her level of butthurt amusing.

Tough loss for you folks

Hopefully Martinez is back soon, you're clearly a different team with him

We're 0-2. Gotta keep it interesting.

LOL! If you can get Martinez back I think you can still make a run to get to a bowl, at the same time obviously this building process for Frost won't be as easy as anyone thought

I predicted 5-7. Of course, the loss of the Akron game hurts those chances. I think that is still possible depending on who is signed to replace the first game.

You guys didn't have a FCS foe so worst comes to worst you can face one of them.

Bunch had his moments but he did better than I expected. Bad habits bit us in the butt this week and I expect that to get better as the year progresses.
These kids look at these sites though and have to know we're not bailing on Frost and they shouldn't either. It's going to take hard work and the kids are the ones that have to do it.
