aww my Quarterback got hurt... lets go with our third string to start... while we are at it lets trade our franchise player, our future...
Richardson owners... Me being one of them just got a little happier.
So is 32 year-old Willis McGahee worth grabbing?
Rotoworld: After the Browns traded Trent Richardson away to the Colts for a 2014 first-round pick Wednesday evening, they need someone to carry the ball for them the rest of the season. Chris Ogbonnaya and Bobby Rainey are the only other running backs on Cleveland's roster. McGahee worked out for the Giants last week, but he hasn't received much interest since being cut by the Broncos in June. We fully expect him to sign on with the Browns once he passes the physical.
ESPN: The Browns are bringing McGahee in for a physical, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. If he passes the physical, he will be signed by the team, according to the report. Spin: In the wake of the out-of-nowhere trade of Trent Richardson on Wednesday, the Browns now have just two backs on their roster: Bobby Rainey and fullback Chris Ogbonnaya. For those scrambling to benefit from this deal, McGahee looks like a player to target.
Not ouch the Cleveland stuff..ouch the low blow to my Husker QB...
Treff, I was right behind ya...what the hell, he's worth a shot.
Hahah.. he isn't a 1st overall pick. No offense.
It's still McGahee....and he's on the Browns. If TRich couldn't do much this year, I doubt he will. But have at him guys.So is 32 year-old Willis McGahee worth grabbing?
Nobody mentions the repercussions for me and Bradshaw?
just lost my window to trade him for something useful... (had a guy in my money league thinking hard about Roddy White)

I'm not even sure if McGahee is worth adding.
He wasn't bad at all when the Browns had to give him 10+ carries; I think there's some promise there.

While I will agree that there is some limited potential there. .I think we're forgetting about Rainey, I'm sure he'll get a chance to show himself in at leat this one week as well.Even without that 40-yard scamper he has a career 4.0 ypc. I'm not saying he'll light the world on fire, but if he's tough enough to be used as a fullback and is a decent receiver on top of that, he could do all right.
Mind you, I didn't add him in the MBBRL - but I did in one league with a deep bench where I'm thin at RB and had room for both him and McGahee. Hope one or the other establishes himself.
