Gone Country!
It's finally upon us! Training Camp begins today... First practice is at 10am... GO HAWKS!
I keep forgetting about Prosise... He has the talent... If he could ever stay on the field, he could be a contributor as well...
Earl Thomas officially doesn't report to camp. No surprises thus far.
Could be into the season as well but I don't think he'll take it that far with him being a FA in the off season.
I generally side with teams when it comes to players in contract years but I really think the team is screwing this up.

I'm going to disagree with you on this one, flyerhawk. The second he jumped into the Cowboys locker room last season pretty much indicated that he had zero interest in staying in Seattle unless they threw money at his feet. Also, the poor man is the 4th highest paid Free Safety for the 2018 season.

Looks like the Seahawks are playing hard ball with Thomas.
Seahawks informed Earl Thomas they will not address his contract, report says
But we extend Brown
3 seasons/ 35 million
If Kam retired now, it would hurt the cap more.OK, I'll try my spin/opinion/
Sure, NFL players have a short career, but they make massive money. Most of them. Like ET has.
$10 Million is MORE than most of us will EVER make in a lifetime, and ET has exceeded that by far.
I do feel they should earn HUGE $$$$, BUT ET already has.
BUT, the team needs to exercise their options, because PA has Billions BUT is ONLY allowed to spend so much.
Earl has already earned enough to live the life of luxuary. FACT.
They signed KAM, and it will cost the Seahawks. Not PA, but the Seahawks. Kam is NOT retired, so will continue to draw his guaranteed salary and affect the CAP. This HURTS the Team.
