looking " great ". Go figure. Odds are when he breaks on to the scene, he will have a great rookie debut, then crash and burn like Kap,RG and company. Once a D gets a season to study film, they blow after that. Athleticism can buy these Qbs a season. The ability to actually play the position and develop into quality legitimate professional NFL Qbs is extremely unlikely. Kind of like some that think because Tebow is such a " athlete " that he'll be able to succeed in MLB. Fuuuuuunnnyyyy!

Hey buddy. I am just telling you how he has looked through the first two games. Nobody called him a hall of famer. If you think Dak is "only athletic" then you didn't do your film studying. He is more then an athletic QB, will he be great? Way too early to tell, but I'd rather look great now then bad.

That last part is why I think Siemian stands such a good chance of winning this competition. They talk about the fact that he checks the ball down a lot but that also means we are not reading about him throwing a pick-6 in practice every day like that of Sanchez. Going to be interesting to see what happens tonight with these two.

Agree that is the one thing I do give Siemian. He protects the ball or has so far in his collegiate career.

Siemian is a better athlete with a better arm. If he protects the ball and those two traits help with the run game, i'm all for it.

Agree.

He has a great arm. Just wasn't asked to use it a lot at Northwestern. I didn't see much upside in Siemian coming out of college but at the same time he was held back a lot in that offense. Right now the bigget thing I do like a about him is he protects the ball and that is what we need. I don't know how truely accurate he is as it was hard to tell on his college film.

He did run decent at Northwestern.

I thought Weems struggled vs Chicago. Ill be curious what he does tonight. I know he had a pretty good camp, and we liked him enough to bring him back after Dallas signed him off our PS 2 years ago.

I'm not sure I want Weems in there. Hopefully Sammy is healthy by week 1.

I think the chances of that are approaching zero. Weems has apparently done well moving from OT to OG, I'm hopeful he will do well. Not saying great, but at least don't look like Schofield did at RT last year.

Lynch better pan out because he is the Broncos future but that has nothing to do with Dak. People thought Montee Ball needed to pan out and Denver has done just fine with out that woman beating piece of shit. Peace.
