that's because teh flyers dont have what it would take to get either of them in a bidding war unless they part with bschenn and/or couturier.. i would be interested in trying to sign perry this summer though, if they ahve the cap space..

You're right...although I would LOVE to have Perry. Could you imagine a line of Harntell-Giroux-Perry?

Hmmm...the fourth line I am not so worried about. Laughton, McGinn, and Sestito could play there...or some other cheapies.

The D is the area where we can't go cheap.

I think Bryz has got to go also even though i love the way he's playing right now i dont think he is worth that much money for that many years so we may have to sign 2 goalies.

i definitely think that's the type of deal the flyers should look for.. a guy that was touted to have tons of offensive skill, but hasn't been able to realize it.. even once the offense starts clicking again, i still think they're a shooter away from being a real solid team on offense.. if MPJ could be that guy, i'm all for trying to get him while his value is low.. i was actually hoping terravainen (similar type player) would've slipped a couple more slots so we could've drafted him last summer.. off topic, but i was hoping vasilevski would've dropped one more too, we have the same name, except his is the russian way haha

however, i wouldn't want to move gusty for him, or a 2nd round pick.. i think the 1st/2nd round picks are pretty important for the flyers to hang on to this year, they need to restock the farm a little bit.. and i wouldn't move gusty because they do need a puck mover too.. and right now if you're looking from within, its him or it's gostisbehere, and gostisbehere is probably another year or two out still.. so i think, just based on the role he plays, gust is near untouchable right now unless you bring in a puck mover

i would definitely consider MAB or manning or someone similar, and a 3rd/4th rounder

I'm primarily interested in him for his skating ability and hands. let's be honest we have a few guys who aren't all about finesse now. Also I'm pretty sure Gusty would have to go back the other way, then again I'm also not anywhere near as high on Gusty as a few people on here are.
