Step 1; Strip BB of all GM duties.

Step 2; Fire his kid.

Step 3: Hire a real agressive D Coordinator.

Step 4: Accept the new NFL and accept the 1998 to 2010 play style is gone.

Step 5: Determine if you can work on Cunningham's accuracy as an NFL QB.

Step 6: Fire sale player that have value and high cap hits.

Step 7. Determine highest position of need and determine if you can address that in FA or if you have to draft.

Step 8: Attain WRs that can get separation.

Step 9: Attain at least one great OT,

Step 10: Determine if BOB is equipped to adjust to today's NFL.

Step 11: Lose to Jets next time we play, it's the only to hang our hat's on at the moment. Strip the team of all glory.

I'm a big time BB apologist but I just don't see how you keep him on in any capacity at this point. The entire staff needs to be shit canned and that includes BOB. Groh. Everybody.

Can Mayo be a head coach or is he too tainted from the BB coaching tree? I don't know.

Well I am not sure firing BB is the solution but stripping him of GM duties is a must. A new GM can hire the pieces he or she feels are best suited to bring this team into today's NFL. I feel BB would not be fired but be presented with the option to step down thus saving he and Kraft a lot of aggrevation.

I guess I assumed you meant strip him of GM duties but have him still be the HC. I think Bill has too much experience and success to agree to that. I think he would just step down. And contrary to what others are saying, I don't think he would coach again.

I could actually see him being some part time analyst or something. He'd be hilarious.

Isn't step 9 an extension of step 7?

QB can't throw the ball from his back.
RB can't run without a hole.
WR can't catch a ball that isn't thrown.

O-line is kinda the foundation.
I agree and other than Alt from ND I haven't really done much research yet on OTs. But I do like Alt

Rebuilding on the fly for the past 3-4 years ain’t working like it used to be. It worked for awhile when the team had a great QB and good coaches. Would rather see a complete and proper rebuild than go through another half-ass process. This team is an amalgam of patchwork garbage. Maybe 6-10 players could remain. The current team and strategy has no unity or will to win.

The problem looking forward is we are going to need at least 16 1st round draft picks in 2024......
There is a lot of talent on the D once everyone is healthy. Need to resign Dugger and Uche at a minimum. Gonzo and Judon back the D is legit minus some dumb penalties.

Sure up the Oline. That and coaching are the two biggest issues. This team has no heart and are not cohesive.
Not sure what to do at QB? FA, Draft or keep Mac with an improved Oline. He's seeing ghosts and on his 3rd O coordinator.

We have three decent TEs, 2 decent RBs and 1 or 2 WRs.

Find a proven vet and bring him in. Take a few shots in the draft after getting the Oline and possibly the QB addressed.
