I like Josh Allen's potential, but I hate seeing a lot of the mental errors that he makes.

allens completion percentage is bad

I would say that is a bit more of the system they run and the talent around him. A great example is that he finished 13th in yards per attempt even with only having the 89th best completion percentage. 15% of Wyoming's pass attempts resulted in completions of 20 yards or more.

He really is about as raw as can be in a lot of areas so teams love the potential but he definitely has to show more this year compared to last year especially in the decision making category. Height/weight/speed wise for the QB position though he looks like a specimen made on Madden. Arm strength galore and has shown he can make any throw you could ever want. He also has the added bonus of playing quite a bit under Center so wouldn't have to transition as much for fitting into an NFL offense.

Rosen is definitely rising up boards. Although I will say he has been high on a lot of boards for his arm talent. The big question is his mental ability to handle the switch to the NFL. He is not known as a guy that can taking coaching all that well and is not exactly a well liked guy by people at UCLA.

Darnold obviously getting hyped up as the #1 pick for next year if he comes out. So far has looked pretty darn good.

Lamar Jackson is a big play waiting to happen. He sometimes has mental lapses and can be streaky with his throws. Needs to show better consistency in decision making and accuracy. Also not sure how much more abuse his body can take. The coaches in Louisville are doing him no favors by calling his number in the run game so often and he is doing himself no favors by always looking for contact.

I think darnold is overrated. Think Todd Marinovich. He's not even the best college QB in LA! The kid from UCLA is better.

A lot of Niner fans seem to think Rosen would be the best bet with Shanahan - something about them both being 'cocky' and 'arrogant' or whatever. I saw a bit of the comeback against Texas and like all comebacks of that magnitude, you need some luck on your side. The kid was getting beat down, but kept getting back up to take more and take it to the defense...another trait that Shanahan likes. Really solid mechanics, so there is little to clean up in the transition to the NFL in that area. He seems like a great fit.....

....which means SF will throw 30 trillion bones per year to Kirk Cousins next year.

Mayfield is not a first round talent in terms of size and arm, but his leadership and intangibles are good. He could be a second rounder IMO by the time the draft rolls around.
