It’s like splitting hairs here, but as much as I love Largent, I can’t put him over Walter Jones… six all pro nods, 9 pro bowls. A few more than Largent. I’ve never seen a player dominate like Walter Jones did, while making it look easy.

I love Walter. The story that he’s allergic to pain killers makes what he did week in week out even more impressive. That said, the quality of QB play Largent played with makes his achievements just as impressive IMO. Definitely a good pick either way either one.

If Largent wasn't a small white guy im sure he would have got more All pros himself. He was knocked out of that list a few times because of injury. It took Rice playing till he was 41 to replace Largent for the greatest WR ever to play the game :)

Yeah, Largent is my number one but him and Jones could pretty much be a 1A, 1B type of deal and that wouldn't bother me. As much as I loved the LOB with Sherm, Earl and Bam Bam, Beastmode is right up there with them in my book. He was the culture setter in those championship runs as much as anybody else. Maybe didn't get the all-pros and accolades but he was definitely a tone setter and he put the fear of god into opposing teams defenses.

I wish Kenny Easley and Curt Warner could've stayed healthy... Easley would've been considered one of the all time greats not just at his position, but overall and CW would've probably been HOF worthy...

Heck RB's back then almost never came back from the injury that Warner had. The fact he did and did as well as he did is amazing. The Land crab was a stud and we all would have loved to see what he could have did if that knee injury never happened.
