You have Stanford way too low imo.

Not really. Stanford is a Johnny Come Lately program that just became relevant a few years ago. They have sucked the majority of the time during the BCS era.

If colt didn't bust his arm, you'd be looking for a different excuse.

Yes, because inexperienced fish Gilbert Grape fighting his own stupid ass OC had the ball with three minutes left down by only three... I'm sure the winningest, most prolific passer in CFB HISTORY would not have done much better.

1st of all, it's a team sport and Colt is nothing without the good receivers. Of which were afforded to Gilbert. Proof of this is the fact that Colt hasn't done shit in the NFL, and if he was that good of a passer he would have.

2nd, Alabama lifted. You'll never admit it, but whatever. The game was over at halftime and everyone knew it.

3rd, even with Colt in, he didn't even manage that much. 2 passes for 5 and 4 yards is somehow proof he was going to tear it up? You were given field goal position on both your earlier FG's, and that was all you got.

4th, your O-Line couldn't hang with the Alabama defense. Which is the reason Colt got hurt in the first place. You ran a speed sweep, the Alabama corner came up and took out the pitch. Meanwhile, your defense couldn't stack up and tried to cut block Darius, who promptly shoved him down and went over him, while traveling the entire line to pop your QB on an already stuffed run.

Btw, A.J. has way better stats and Colt. Colt had more losses in 2006 than A.J had in his entire career.

So called better passes, yet threw more INT every year than A.J. every threw in any season, and Colt threw more INT in 2007 alone than A.J. threw in his entire career. AJ had 15 intereceptions in his career, Colt had 17 just in 2007.

Hell, A.J has better stats all around. The only thing Colt has that AJ doesn't have is Colt started as a freshman. That's it.

One of the biggest myths spewed by Bama homers. Bama ran the same plays in the 2nd half that were successful in the 1st half (Muschamp just made adjustments). Bama only gained 260 total yds of offense. Also, Saban was blitzing the true frosh the same way he was in the 1st half. You should really watch the game sometime.

Also, Mack and Cheesy Greg actually let Gilbert play in the 2nd half instead of just handing the game over to Bama like they did in the 2nd Quarter. You have to chance to be good, and Gilbert was in that game. [Same thing I said about Case this year: have to chance to be good].

A lesson that Mack and Cheesy Greg never really understood.

I would even move USC to two and move FSU to three. USC between 2003-06 was just that dominant.

Since 11 teams won a BCS title during the Era, those 11 teams are automatically ranked 1-11 IMO. After that I took different things into account.
You guys are a bunch of idiots. In that we are now officially into pre-season 2014, it's this:

You think only Bama people think the game was over before halftime?:laugh3:

Yep, Texas adjusted all right, adjusted to the fact they knew we were just going to run the ball and run the clock out to get the game over with as to not embarrass Mack Brown.

It's kind of funny, Alabama scores 24 points in the 2nd quarter, 0 in the 3rd quarter and only starts scoring points again when Texas scores. With a final score that had Alabama ahead by 16.

And the kicker of all this - our QB played injured and A.J. almost had to start the game.

No, you're right. Saban is the kind of coach that lets the other team get to within 3 points WITH THE BALL and three minutes left before he decides to stop playing nice and decides to start scoring again. no, you're absolutely right. he's just a swell fella that nick saban.

:: idiot ::

I mean, do you even listen to how stupid your bullshit sounds before you post it?
