Jim, Jim, Jim, When will you learn? When will you keep up with the thread?

Yes this past year Florida played Toledo who had a winning record.
USC played Boston College who had the same amount of wins as Toledo.

Only an idiot would think they are the comparable teams but using your formulas Toledo would have a higher winning percentage (they lost and played one less game).

Apparently there are a lot of computers that think Toledo and BC were comparable. The average ranking for BC was 62 and the average ranking for Toledo was 64. But, you are too busy playing the "name" game to see the truth.
College Football Ranking Composite

next year USC goes back East to play Boston College. does Florida go play Toledo away in 2014?
No, we reserve travel for opponents that have a pulse unlike USC that will stoop to travel to a NON-Major that has a losing record. How sad.

Nope they bring in the Eastern Michigan for another home layup with Eastern Kentucky as their second to the last game at home of course.
How about Alabama in Tuscaloosa and FSU in Tallahassee? THAT'S called traveling!!!

Go look for some Eastern Michigans or Toledos or Eastern Kentuckys, Florida Atlantics on USCs schedule. Try and find three a year like Florida has .

My formulas? USC fans are not looking too good on this thread.

Florida fan keeps dodging the glaring embarrassing facts .
You equate 12 years of loading you schedule with teams like Middle Tennessee , Eastern Kentucky, North Texas, Toledo, Louisiana Lafayette , Citadels of the world . Florida plays two some times three of these type of teams every year. Every single one at home and never playing them then next year.

2009 magnifies your flawed excuses .
" Florida plays less LOSER teams" . In 2009 Florida played Charlston Southern at home (what a shock) . They went 6-5 beating teams like North Greenville (I kid you not), Presbyterian College ( I bet they were tough) and something called "Stony Brook".;This is a prime example of the "winner teams" Florida schedules.

Socal, I stopped posting on this thread because it is so ridiculous Boxluch and this Gator fan came up with stats that involve their own conference. Anyone that isn't a " Casual CFB fan" realizes that the SEC is loaded with ranked opponents supported by ESPIN

I have asked that they compare USC & Fla against OOC BCS opponents over the past 20 years, yet neither
has done it. You know why? they don't like the results.

I stopped with these jack-waggons because it became obvious you can't reason with stupid. I suggest you do the same.. To compare Fla to USC is dumber than a rock. :L

You stopped posting on this thread because you said you'd post data and now you can't. You have no way to counter the very convincing arguments put out there.

Keep boasting about playing Charleston Southern and their "winning record".LOL
Now you're just getting stupid. At NO point did I ever brag about Charleston Southern.

What's wrong University of Southern Boise can't keep up?
In the BCS era
# of AP Top 10 ranked opponents UF 43 ; USC 27 ----------UF played 16 MORE Top 10 Ranked opponents!!!
# of AP ranked opponents UF 86 ; USC 54 ----------UF played 32 MORE Ranked opponents!!!
# of opponents 0.500 or lower UF 69 ; USC 96 -----UF played 27 FEWER LOSERS!!!

# of D1A Non Major opponents UF 28 ; USC 21 ----------UF played 7 MORE Non Major opponents!!!
# of FCS opponents UF 9 ; USC 0 ----------UF played 9 MORE FCS opponents!!!

Let's see, that is 16 MORE FCS and D1A NON Majors that UF played than USC played but 32 MORE Ranked opponents that UF played then USC played.

SO :laugh3: You lose again.

Yeah, if he hadn't claimed he was going to post the data, he might be able to bluff his was with the "I'm just dropping the conversation" bit. He even pleaded for someone to post data for him. He's got nothing so now it's the "I'm not interested" bit.

Bullshittttt. We went 12-0, cry about it. We earned victories.

No crying by me. Posting facts. Pitt game a blatant penalty not called on ND during OT which would have given Pitt another FG attempt to end the game. Stanford can be argued as well. But besides last year ND has done jack squat since Holtz.

Kelly has had no issues developing players. Keeping them there sure, but I'm not sure if that's his fault or Northern Indiana's fault. Kelly is having to competely rebuild the program and is doing a fine job.

Who has Kelly developed? Tommy Turnover? And blaming Northern IN is sad. It is his job to convince those kids to come and stay. He has not done that. He also is not rebuilding the program. All he has to do is get the top kids from out is state to go there. Not happening at the moment. His arrogance and abrasiveness is the problem with keeping kids there. This also is not just my opinion, but that of many ND fans in Northern IN.

We've been to 4 BCS bowls and it has not been pretty for us since Holtz left, but we haven't been nonexistent. Lol two players wearing the same number, when have you ever seen that called? I wouldn't consider that blantant, and Pitt had ample oppertunities to win the game themselves and choked. Sorry.

Our offensive and defensive lines have been amazing. Golson was developed by him. Tommy simply had maxed out on ability. He just wasn't a good QB. He's also been churning out TE's without missing a beat. You're ignorant if you think he isn't rebuilding the program. He's the first coach to win 8 or more games in his first four seasons since Holtz. His record at ND's is the best since Holtz. Last year we took a step backwards because we lost Golson and we still won 9 games. This year I expect we'll do well even with our tough schedule. Look at our recruiting classes, they're not lacking on talent. I think we're #3 on scouts.

You keep throwing in "ranked opponents" " loser teams"
How many of those "ranked" teams were teams you had to play because they were either conference games or in state rival game?
USC has to play Pac schedule and plays Notre Dame every year.
Tell me about the teams Florida chooses to fill out the rest of the schedule. Tell me about 14 years of two to three Toledos and Charleston Southerns, Northern Michigan, Eastern Texas while USC plays the Hawaiis the Fresno States the Virginias the Syracuse, The Boston Colleges . You know teams that might possibly be good enough to give you a game. How many times were these teams played at their home? How many times were these teams even mediocre ? How many of these layups were the second to the last game when most teams are playing conference or rival games? How much easier is it to play three of these and the one or two down teams every conference has and then just play the top teams in your conference. How good would have USC been if instead of playing Fresno State and Boston College and instead played South west college of North Idaho and Southern Grand Rapid Bible College right before every big game.

Socal, why do you do it, These casual fans don't even realize that USC plays 9 ICG a year while the SEC plays 8, of course there is a greater opportunity to play more teams with a winning record, while the PAC is guaranteed to have 6 more loses. stop arguing with a rock

I'm just trying to see how many times this guy can post and keep avoiding the truth about his team scheduling a good 40 plus games over the BCS era against glorified community colleges and calls them bowl teams or teams with winning records. I'm amused how he sees North Texas State and Florida International and equates them to playing Virginia and Boston College and Fresno State.

Oh I'm with you on that. The fact that this Gator fan is using conference stats is comical at best. You can compare conferences stats from one the plays 8 INC to one that plays 9, also the fact the SEC has 14 teams.

I realize he has a Fla education, but come on.

I told him to plug in his own little info from 1998 to 2013, has he done it noooooo. Fla is 500% against OOC BCS opponents
