A lot depends on Perez being successful, and that's certainly not a guarantee. Don's just being cautious here.

Through 4 innings Chi Chi hasn't allowed a run and has allowed only 1 hit and 1 walk. He gets his first strikeout to close out the 4th inning. He gets it on a swinging strike on an 86 MPH slider.
