Decision time. Look like Stubbs was picking up his bat a bit. With 13 pitchers on the 25 man roster (think that was what Banister alluded to) that means one bench catcher, one util inf, one util or opposite bat OF. Thinking maybe a contemplation of 12 pitchers if they want to retain another OF in Stubbs.

Chi Chi gets 2 quick outs in the 5th and then walks 2 in a row. Then he gets another strikeout.

Through 4 innings Chi Chi hasn't allowed a run and has allowed only 1 hit and 1 walk. He gets his first strikeout to close out the 4th inning. He gets it on a swinging strike on an 86 MPH slider.

Maybe Bush imparted some knowledge to the youngster.
