Dig in the soul or still find hilarious? For me, it’s the latter, Sir. Touché
It's all still true. Oregon fans are still clamoring to be included and accepted. The fact is, that rusty nail is why Michigan is always going to be more relevant; even when Oregon is having a better year.

The Rusty Nail is why Michigan is relevant... noted. And I agree. That’s why I thought your post of never seeing Michigan win in Columbus is kinda relevant and funny in regards to the Rustiest of all nails.

The OSU thing is our own personal curse that we have to deal with. It's like the Cubs and The Curse of the Billy Goat. Some day it will be over.

Because you weren't accepted to Auburn...or because that's when you grew hair on your nads?
Nah, I mean I always kept up if they win or loss and would sometimes watch a game(Iron Bowls and 93 Sugar Bowl) but 94 was when I started watching every game as a diehard fan.

I bet there is one or two here. Post the year that you started watching college football. And I'll post how many years you were watching cfb without UCF.

Only comments before 1996 will earn a reply.

About 1980 for me. I remember a little from the late 70s but I was still but a wee lad and it’s hazy. From about 1980 on my memories of college football are pretty clear.

Id say really started following it more than just Oregon in about 1994. Oregon had a good season by their standards back then. so it was first time i remember my dad actually being happy about the team. i was born in 1980 so thats 39 years without UCF

First game I went to was Utah at Army in 1957. Pete Dawkins played for Army, although it was the year before his Heisman. Lee Groscup was the Utah QB.

Started regular TV watching around 1960. In the 60s, there as generally one game a week at 3:30. One of the networks broadcast Notre Dame games on Sunday mornings.
