Its a helluva lot better, with a much better established team than peyton got thrown into. Peyton was asked to go win games for the colts early in his career. brady was asked to not lose them. thats a big difference

Guess your not paying attention. Team in 5 -13 in last season and after 2 games when Brady takes over. So if he if asked to "not lose" games u still have a below avg team. He not only not loses games but wins enough to win SB 3 out of next 4 SB's with that same team. Watch the drive in first SB when the Defense gave uo the 14 point lead in 4th quarter. Under 2 min left , ball is on Pats 20 yr line after touchback. Madden says that they should run out clock deep in their field and take chances in OT. Brady almost gets sacked, scrambles for 1st down. Then a few throws later get it into FG range for AV. Game over

Right. Know why? Because Peyton was the promised child, first pick franchise QB and Brady was the scrawny kid no one wanted. That's why.

And if you had dropped Peyton onto the 0-2 Pats in 2001, they don't win the SB. No way. Can imagine Peyton trying to beat Oakland in the snow game? With those wobbly ducks? NO WAY. Not happening.

the media has fabricated this peyton can't play outdoors stuff. people just eat it up with out digging any deeper[/QUOTE]

It's not just outdoors, I think people are saying when it's really cold. Look up Peyton's and Brady's stats at temps between 30-20 F.

I am a Brady fan and a NE homer. I also respect Peyton Manning, I'm just not going to do it here!
Rodgers is a very good QB. What is he missing? Can't put my finger on it.....

He's missing a Defense, which is odd because the Packers rebuilt and had a good thing going for awhile. Also, he is injured, that could be it

Aaron does the best commercials with da bear guys on the plane. 'No your that doublecheck discount guy that saved us so much money we were able to get grill seats". And then when Aaron is dreaming he is a cousin to those guys bringing the bratworst and Norm from Cheers is getting a massage from Ditka with the sausage pillow. Priceless. Aaron is my second fav QB just for that

Lol, he's missing nothing. The Packers have given up 45 POINTS PER GAME in his only 3 playoff losses. Try to overcome that. Also look at the fact the Packers would have been a top 2-3 NFC team with him and haven't won a game in the 5 games without him, and went from 5-2 to basically out of the playoffs.

Tony Dungy was a pretty bad coach? Setup TB for SB and had the Colts competing every year. Throw in the same OC for whole career in Tom Moore and then you have the same GM, Bill Polian who took Buffalo to SB 4 years in a row. Unfortunately he only built around Peyton and offensive weapons. BB being a defensive guru and a so so coach before Brady took over as QB, always built more around defense

Tony Dungy wasn't peyton's coach until like year four of his career... The team was awful when he showed up.

I agree Rodgers is that good. Great arm with very mobile skills. He is the current version of Steve Young. Brady is the modern Montana who IMO is the best. Wins but cant scramble for shit. Best 3 and 1 guy for QB sneaks

Peyton vs Tom

So Chris Bianchi, a producer for ESPN radio in Denver, also has a meteorology degree. Here is some Peyton research he did:

He’s 2-8 in which the game temperature is below freezing (32 or below), 0-2 in any game below 20 and 2-5 in games between 20-29
But once the temperature goes above freezing (32), he gets markedly better, 6-5 in games where the temperature is 30-39 and 11-3 in games where the temperature is 40-49

Tom Brady has 46 games under his belt in cold weather with a 40-6 record. He's 29-5 at home and 11-1 on the road. He has a 10-2 postseason record inside those 46 games. He has thrown 85 touchdowns, 30 interceptions and he has been sacked 81 times. One of the most impressive facts is his 584 first downs, or an average of 13 per game.:suds:

Ok, I'll explain. Outside of Packers fans and Patriot haters, he doesn't get enough credit IMHO. He is a great QB. Don't know where to put him on the list but time will tell.

Almost all of this that you are pointing to is team records not actual individual stats when it comes to Peyton in the cold. Just look at the last 2 cold weather games for Peyton...Last year's playoff loss to the Ravens where the defense gave up 38 points while Peyton had a decent game with 3 touchdown passes and over a 100 quarterback rating until his last interception. Against New England it wasn't a great game for him but again the defense gave up a ton of points and his fellow offensively players decided to go on a fumbling campaign.

Now if you want to just see Peyton himself and what he individually has brought to cold weather games (almost all have been away games for him) then here is a great article that breaks down every cold weather game for him.

Peyton Manning plays lousy in cold weather! Myth or Fact? - Mile High Report

I read an article a few years ago saying that Manning's dome passer rating is 10- points higher playing indoors then outside( regardless of temp, snow, wind etc)

today is a perfect example of this peyton can't play in the cold crap. D allows 21 first half points to the TITANS.

2-3 drops by WR's in the endzone, a big 3rd down drop by Montee Ball. NONE OF THAT IS ON PEYTON.

but when all the peyton haters go look at the boxscore they'll ignore the facts for the media narrative they are fed.

Belichick - Hall of Famer coach, arguably the best ever, same system for entire run

Dungy - good coach, probably top 25, possible HOFer
Mora - Mediocre coach, maybe top 50
Caldwell - forgettable coach
Fox - Mediocre coach

How many titles did Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant win without Phil Jackson again??

2001-2004 Charlie Weiss
2005: No Offensive Coordinator (Bill calling offense)
2006-7: Josh McDaniels
2009-10: No Offensive Coordinator (Bill calling offense)
2011: Bill O'Brien
2012: Josh McDaniels

Not to mention a revolving door of wide receivers, TEs and schemes.

"Same system for entire run." :laugh3:
