hammers ok and what would it say about the pats if people didn't hate them. Think about the teams that people don't hate; its usually because they don't bother wasting any time thinking about them at all. As a fan of one of them, hammer knows that better than most!

And the "little small owner" of the pats knows the difference between winning a SB and winning a game; his team has been to 6 of them since he bought it 19 years ago (not to mention 8 conference championship games) and has actually celebrated at 3 and 6 respectively, so he certainly know the difference.

I do think it would be entertaining if Bud's team actually won one of those ( think they have black and white footage around somewhere of the last one) He would probably flip everyone the bird and then drop dead:whistle:

Ohh I don't doubt he is okay, my comment was mostly meant to be taken in jest. Sarcasm, oft times does not translate on message boards.

Once again Tom Brady and the Pats prove why they are the class of the NFL. Brady goes on the road, vs. a rival, surrounded by a bunch of nobodies and pulls off the win.

I couldn't have said it better myself. This victory from the Pats is right up there with the Miracle on Ice victory and the Rebels defeating the Empire. People will tell their Grandchildren about this upset win one day.

They will tell the tell of how the underdog Patriots, who were favored to win by 11 points, marched into Buffalo with their heads hanging low, dreading the fact that they must face a team that Tom Brady and the Pats have beaten 20 times out of 22 games.

Tom Brady faced a very difficult situation, as he had to play with a plethora of new WR's around him. The look on his face said it all, he was worried, and possibly peeing while sitting down. Even against these insurmountable odds, Brady courageously took the field to do battle with the juggernaut Bills.

A Bills team that hasn't made the PO's in 13 years, an NFL record for longest drought. They also must face a Rookie QB in EJ Manuel. A man with no NFL experience, coming off a knee surgery, who no one said should have been the first QB selected in the draft, and who didn't even deserve to be the first QB selected in the draft.

But that wasn't all. The Pats would also have to face a team that has several Rookie starters at key positions as well. Woods, Goodwin, Gragg on Offense, and Alonso, Meeks, Robey, and Williams on Defense. Not too mention the Bills lost Gilmore and Byrd to injuries.

They would also have to face a Head Coach in Doug Marrone, a man who never coached an NFL game before, as well a new OC, and DC.

But despite all this, ALL THIS, the Patriots somehow pulled out what some are now calling the greatest upset comeback win of the modern era. A game that made people see sound for the first time and taste colors.

Here's to you Tom Brady and the Patriots, this beer is for you:

Well, if there had ever been any question in my mind whether or not the bills suck, you certainly have put any doubt to rest, at least for me.

Now on to Rex and the Jets. Its like the pats "voyage to the bottom the barrel tour".:yahoo:

Yes, and they will continue to suck until they can start winning, win consecutive game, win against opponent over .500, win on the road, and put together some winning Seasons. That should be a given. Who doesn't realize this?

The one thing the game against the Pats showed however, is that the Bills look to be heading in the right direction finally, and they look to be a few pieces away from really turning this Franchise around. I believe that EJ just might be the QB they have been looking for since Jim Kelly.

I like the bills (what's not to like when you get 20 wins from them in the last 22) but as long as Ralph Wilson is breathing they will suck. If they seem to be headed in the right direction it is not by design and only a temporary abberation until the can f**k it up:suds:

Yes, like I said, enjoy it now, because eventually the tide will turn. Too bad the Pats haven't been able to capitalize on these golden opportunities a bit more since the 2004 Season. The window is starting to close.

But without Ralph, there wouldn't be a Buffalo Bills, so I will be forever grateful for that, because he could have just as easily folded up shop a long time ago.

Change is coming, it's just taking longer than I wanted it to. :L

If you took my post to mean that the patriots don't have their own set of demons that have been haunting them in the last few years, you are mistaken. They are just on a different scale.

I know, and it will only get worse once Brady decides to retire. Unless he really wants to be the next George Blanda? Once he goes, you know Belichick is going to go, and that will level the playing field tremendously.

Pats have been very fortunate since 2001. A lot of things fell in their lap, and they have had more than their fair share of luck over the years. That obviously doesn't explain all their success of course, but in the end, they've been a great team, and to say I'm not envious of their success would be a lie.

To say though that the Pats last second win against the Bills was a product of having new WR's, or whatever other excuses I keep hearing, is just ridiculous when you realize what the other team facing them is currently going through.

I believe I even saw someone say that it was a trap game, and that the field was slippery. :wtf:

I agree about Jared Cook and have been shouting it for months as I'm sure you already know. But what does it have to do with this thread? Did I mentioned Peyton's monster game and get you all pissed off or something?

Right now if the Buffalo Bills could choose Tom Brady or EJ Manuel, they'd stick with EJ without a moment's hesitation. Diminishing skills vs. an obvious weapon? It's a no-brainer.

No, there is nothing for me to say about regular season Peyton Manning. I'll have more to say come playoff time.

I'm just continually baffled at the amount of venom you spew at the Pats and Kraft. I've been around a lot of Pats haters. I've been around Colt fans who were so obsessed with the Pats losing that they openly admitted to me that they would rather see the Pats lose the SB than ever see the Colts win another one. True story. But those were Colt fans who desperately wanted to Peyton to be Brady. But a Titans fan? I don't get it. It's so over the top it borders on being personal. But I, along with others flock to your hate so I guess it's working.

I hope the Jets can beat them on Thursday. I think we have a chance. Shane Vereen is out for the game. Rob Gronkowski is probably out. Danny Amendola was hurt last game.

If our DL can play like they did vs the Bucs, we have a chance. Especially if the offense can move the ball and score some. But this is the best DL the Jets have had in years. I can't wait for Coples to join the fun.

Our run game has to do better, the OL has to block better than they did vs the Bucs.

As much as I wish the Pats were exposed. Its just not true. Tom Brady is still Tom Brady. They're still more than likely going to win the division, and a playoff game or two.

Could the Bills get Tom Brady AND keep EJ Manuel as the back-up perhaps? Or would that require some type of trade or deal with Kraft to make that work?

I bet he wouldn't give up Tom unless the Bills could find some way to convince Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson to let his girfriend star in one of their upcoming movies or something?

Oh well, here's to EJ then. :suds:

OMG I have heard it all. Coming from the guy who drags his murderous hatred of Peyton Manning into every thread he posts in! Just fucking WOW. :pound:

The bottom line is this, Rob: Why do you care? Why are you so fucking obsessed with my opinions? It's baffling! Why does it rip your heart out that I have an opinion one way or another? Help me understand!

And why do you have the Detroit Lions as your favorite NFL team when you're the most shameless Patriots/Brady knob-slobber on the board? Can you explain THAT?

The world outside Foxboro (and RobBase's house) will be Jets fans on Thursday night. The division has to win against the Patriots to have a chance.

NE will win the AFC East, not the Dolphins like you seem to think. Will see who's right.

Going way out on a limb with that prediction. That must take courage!
