You've run a very specific set of numbers to back up what you say, while ignoring the bottom line number of the AFC East only having 1 team (the Patriots) finish with a winning record the last 3 years.

And in that same time period they've never had a team with less than 6 wins like most other divisions.
You want to go back further? Then your only critera for being a weak division (i.e. only one team finishing about .500) dissolves as well.
2010 two teams above .500
2009 two teams above .500
2008 three teams above .500
Why would I want to go back further? I've said many times the division has been weak the last 3 years.
And so what if they've never had a team with fewer than 6 wins? 6 wins isn't good, it's bad. So like I've said, outside of the Patriots, the AFC East has been mediocre to bad for the last 3 years.
I didn't really buy he was sick anyway. Just another ploy by BB and his regime to try to get the other team to change what they were doing.
