I've run the numbers excluding the Pats and the AFC East is behind the AFC North but ahead of the AFC South and West. Sorry. I've got data and you've got your "perception." I win.

You've run a very specific set of numbers to back up what you say, while ignoring the bottom line number of the AFC East only having 1 team (the Patriots) finish with a winning record the last 3 years.
