Yeah but that KU team was 33-5 and was the #1 overall seed. lol. This team probably has more talent than that, but their most talented players are Freshman, but like you said that lends to them being able to get better over the year.

The Big 12 had them and Oklahoma that year and that was it. I thought the conference was pretty weak overall in 2016. WVU was decent as well.

Big 12 had 6 teams make the tournament that year though. If I had to guess it probably rated out as the #1 or #2 conference.

Oklahoma rode on BUddy Hield and got blown out by NOVA. I thought the conference was pretty overrated and that wasn't the best Kansas team.

But getting blown out by Nova doesn't mean OU was overrated or the conference IMO. The conference performed really good OOC, which builds depth.
