didn't know that Washington was rated that highly. they are #47 on kenpom right now and finished #98 on kenpom last year. respectable recruiting class, but not a piece in the class that screams guaranteed day 1 contributor to an outsider's naked eye

They had basically their entire team returning from last year. I think they were a 1 seed or 2 seed in the NIT. If there's marginal improvement they should be a tournament team. But if they hit their ceiling last year they could be in the NIT again.

agreed with these thoughts. it is rare to see Kentucky get whooped like this, it is even rarer to see a Kentucky team look like they don't even belong on the same court as their opponent

I didn't take too much of an issue with. I would have had them somewhere between 25-32ish probably. They definitely had better resume metrics(RPI if you will) as opposed to advance metrics like KenPom/Sagarin. But maybe that does make them a little overrated at 25. But I also think WKU is probably a top 40ish team too.

Yeah, I wouldn't argue with you for having them outside the top 30. I'm banking on some natural improvement with them, but maybe their players have reached their potential since they are all older. With no improvement they will be similar to last year.

this may be the last class that is like that for Duke. Capel is now @ Pitt and it doesn't appear that they are going to get multiple OAD's in 2019

they are going to be fun to watch. Martin Twins and Caroline are a pretty prolific trio. Porter was a good pickup

Well we know who's going to finish last in the Big 12 now. TSU is obviously not a good team, but they also have a first year head coach on top of it.

TSU looks like the top of the SWAC again, even with a new coach. Which I guess isnt saying much but they've consistently been dominant in that conference the last 5 or so years.

They've got Jalyn Patterson who transfered from LSU, he was a top 300 player out of HS. (Lit up Baylor with 23 points)

Jeremy Combs, another LSU transfer (played 1 year there last year after 3 pretty productive years at North Texas) 11/8 last night.

Trayvon Reed 7'2 center is a former top 100 prospect (Started at Auburn) (15/12 vs Baylor)

Oh yeah no doubt they'll be the favorites in the swac. They've always been a pretty good transfer destination. Jones will be able to do that during his entire tenure there would be my guess. Not surprised those LSU guys transferred there.
