What do you expect from your Demon Deacons this season? I don't know what to expect from my Wolfpack with so many new faces.

RJ Barrett is projected to be Klay Thompsom with slightly more athletic upside. Which is why he has the best odds of being the top pick.

nah, I was halfway joking. I'm excited for the Duke/UK game.

As far as the Deacs go, we'll see. I went to the exhibition game on Friday night and I was pleased with what I saw. It was Belmont Abbey (can't emphasize that enough), but Wake played team basketball. Defensive rotations were good, offense was well run and overall team chemistry was there. Roster is about 1,000x better this year than it was last year. Worried about the inexperience and am anxious to see if Olivier Sarr is tough enough this year to hang underneath the basket with ACC centers.

A somewhat under the radar game at 4:00 on ESPN+. Buffalo takes on St. Francis PA. IMO St. Francis PA is a pretty heavy favorite to win the NEC this season. Return their top 4 scorers from a team that went 12-6 in league play last year. Could be a nice test for Buffalo who has to replace a couple peices off last year's round of 32 team.

Looks like not much of a test for Buffalo, they rolled pretty easily.

2011 was the last time the NEC champ wasn't a 16 seed. One of consistently bottom of the barrel conferences

Yeah I didn't realize St. Francis was without a couple key pieces. I still think they'll win the NEC regular season. Whether they win the tournament is a different thing.

I'd like them to at least be competent though so it's at worst a Q2 win if we get it. They're up 13 now.
