Illegal player downfield, false starts, leg whipping, holding. It never ended with him killing positive plays. He was an upper tier mid-major talent who started at a tradition rich blueblood like Nebraska because of Barney.

How in the hell was Niles Paul not the starter last year even when Reed came back?

He was the #2 ranked TE in the NFL and top receiver on the team and then Reed comes back from his injury and suddenly they feel like they need to play him instead.

When Paul was at Nebraska I always thought he'd make a hell of a TE.
