So.......are you guys buying all this talk about the Defense?

The last time I heard Bo talking THIS highly of a Defense's potential was in 2009. Every season he makes the same old "I like what I see" comment..........

This year he is going well beyond that, however. It's amazing to me with this much youth that he would be so willing to make such comments. Every year he says he's confident, but this year he really believes he has the horses to make things happen.

I gotta be honest, I'm starting to buy into it. The coaches, the players....everyone is very confident and feels that they got to a point strength-wise over the offseason that they have never been at.

I am really just excited that slow white boys won't be clogging up our Front 7 anymore......

I do believe that Bo is a good enough of Defensive coach that given the athletes, he can make things happen. There should be growing pains, but man we have a lot of potential.

Coaches have said Gerry is just a fucking stud. They say he is the smartest man on the entire Defensive side of the ball and understands everything.

It's the buzz anyways....

But Bo said himself that Gerry came in a full grown man.......

He said that about him and Gregory. He also said that about Imani Cross last year, and he wasn't lying about that.

I guess the thing that I'm impressed with the most is how the coaches keep talking about how the young guys don't act like young guys......

They have come in with an attitude and are ready to prove something.

I can name about 5 guys on our Front 7 from last year who acted like young guys......and they weren't young guys....

Well irule.......you and I have been pumping sunshine for this team over the past 4 years far more than anyone else. Brasky comes close, but as soon as we lose a game he is usually back to reality.

This year the pieces are actually somewhat in place for us to be confident.

So since I have called for a Natty the last 3 seasons, I might as well do it again this year.

Also, thinking we wont win the natty is lame. Imagine when we do and we feel way better than all the plebs who werent expecting it. Itll be way more special to us true fans is all
