He always has a nice pair of rose colored glasses he wears every August. Then he gets pissed off and throws them at a ref in September. So what we get in August is always kind of rosy.

and that's exactly why he should switch it up this year. maybe if he puts on (hmmm what's the opposite of rose colored glasses? yellow piss stained glasses?), anyway, if he talks about how bad the defense is, maybe that would light a fire under those guys to get better. these young guys are impressionable and I'm sure they are reading his words to the media and if he keeps telling them that the defense is coming along, those young guys might not work as hard thinking they are going to be alright.

I was just going to say that. He said they were mentally weak and gave up when they got tired, especially the defense. Maybe that woke some up or maybe they all thought he was just calling out VV

PS It's August though now and I really don't blame him for getting excited and getting his hopes up. If you love the game ya gots to.

He deleted the tweet. NU compliance prob doesn't like players using words like NCAA. Bo prob doesn't like players who haven't played a down commenting on players who haven't played a down.

They're not allowed to talk to the media until they've played for a reason.

-Jamal Turner in the lead for PR duties

-Papuchis saying the pressure is on for Gregory to not waste a single day preparing. Sounds like he has everything they wanted and more physically, but he needs to be in his playbook every waking minute. I hope he's a bright kid.

-Thad Randle is doing very well.

-Collins is turning heads again after missing a day for "personal reasons". Papuchis had a lot of praise for him. Said he's further ahead than most freshman he's had at the position.
