guess I've got to keep harping on this until they get a goalie.
lost 5-2 to Spokane to drop to 2-7-0-0 on the year.
t'was the first game of the season where the Giants were outshot.

nice pick-up. Lanigan running at .960 (only 3 games sample size)

can we have your cast-off?
anything has to be better than Liston's .802 sv% (4.68 GAA)

So, the Saskatoon Blades are hosting the 2013 Memorial Cup - Maybe someone needs to remind them of that fact as they are currently in the cellar of the East Division of the Eastern Conference.

On top of that the East division looks pretty weak this year. The US division teams that have gone East so far (Portland, Tri-City and Everett) have put together a combined record of 9-3-2. For Saskatoon to be at the bottom of that is pretty bad. Saskatoon is gonna have to make quite a few moves to be Memorial Cup worthy and after trading for Brayden Schenn two years ago (giving up 2 top prospects, 3 first round picks and a second round pick) Saskatoon is going to be a bottom feeder for quite a few years.

O is not equal to C, son.

Yeah, the kid looks good. And it hurts me because they just talked about what happened the year he was born.

I realized it's the same year my oldest daughter was.

Make that 11-3-2 after Everett and Tri-City both win again in the East tonight.

I don't blame Pelech for going after him right away either. The player Seiloff hit is only 16 years old.

Meh, looked like a pretty clean hit to me (might have left his feet a little). I hate the fact that guys have to fight after delivering a solid body check (it never used to be that way, you'd seek retribution with a clean hit of your own later in the game).

/Keep your head up, kid.

Pelech impressed me last night btw.
cannon for a shot, smart defensively, and tough.

and yes, I agree if a teammate gets cranked (especially a rook), you've got to step in.

The kid bounced right back up from the hit. Meanwhile, Pelech is such a hero that he goes after a guy who is down on the ice and essentially defenseless.

I'm not saying it's right, but it's still gotta be done. :fish:
