Spokane loses to Vancouver 3-2 to cap a shitty sports day. Managed all of 15 shots on goal.

seems that's the only way the Giants will win.
back-up goalie was in net, too (Fuhr, no relation)

over int he Q, Buffalo fans have to be thrilled with Mikhael Grigorenko's start. 11 points in 4 games so far.

The Giants played a good game. If they can do that consistently they'll be alright. Sounds like Fuhr might be the guy to roll with, for now anyway. Liston just isn't getting it done for the Giants.

/Tigers in the BC Capital tonight to take on the Royals...

You gonna go?

Unfortunately, I'm on the mainland today, so I'm gonna miss tonight's tilt. At any rate, Go Tigers!

Edit: My bad, the Tigers/Royals game is on Wednesday night, and I'm going to the Chivas USA - Whitecaps game at BC Place.

That's pretty sweet. I went to a Sounders game in August and had an absolute blast. They played the Whitecaps interestingly enough. There were 2 entire sections full of Vancouver supporters and you could see other white shirts littered throughout the stadium. They have an awesome fanbase and the atmosphere should be fantastic.

They are indeed. Grigorenko is on a tear. I think the Sabres got a steal getting him as late as they did.

Tigers lose a tough one tonight 4-3 in OT to Victoria (Royals scored a late goal to force overtime).

/Kelowna converted their TD in a 7-0 thumping of the Giants.

Medicine Hat and their 30+% powerplay coming to fave the Giants' 60% PK tonight.
I am not optimistic.

we don't need a new Buble, we need a new goalie.

Both teams should be angry tonight (Tigers blew a late lead against the Royals and then lost in OT). Could likely be some fireworks of the fisticuffs variety.

Gonna get my 1st look of the season at Nathan McKinnon tonight when the Sea Dogs host the Mooseheads. Both teams are 4-1 and tied for the division lead. The consensus is that the Mooseheads will win the division this year. The Sea Dogs have been a bit of a surprise so far after losing 6 or 7 key players but they still have Huberdeau and a few other scraps from their 2 championship teams from the past 2 seasons. Should be a good one tonight.

Well the Sea Dogs managed to keep it close at home and only lost 4-3 to the upstart Mooseheads on Friday night in a game that included a surprising fight between Jonathan Huberdeau and Martin Frk. MacKinnon looked okay but Frk and Jonathan Drouin were the best Mooseheads in that game in my opinion.

Last night was a different story. Mooseheads gave the Sea Dogs a thrashing and from the highlights it looks like MacKinnon was as good as advertised. 1 of his goals sort of reminds me of a famous one Mario Lemieux scored, although that is hardly Ray Bourque. :L

After a good start, the Tigers have dropped four in a row - It's likely going to be that kind of season (hot and cold)
