Half the country could be busted for pot any given day of the week.
Kid is a 5th year senior and a returning starter. Pretty stupid to get busted at this pt of his life. Less than a week ago he was selected to to talk at a D.A.R.E camp in front of 200 kids. Gets busted couple days later.
Unrelated, but I saw the Georgia fans are dying to play Texas. That would be a great game, if the powers that be put that together.
-After last years Ole Miss beat down can you blame then for wanting to play Texas? News flash we all want to play Notre Dame also.
It doesn't matter what the morality or legal status.
There are team rules that players agree to abide.
Just like there might be a curfew at midnight for players....while other college students are running around drunk at 3am.
If you want to toke up, it's fine. But, you cannot expect to stay on the team.

you are getting a lot of mileage out of the one. Lot of crowing for beating a team that fired their DC 5 days before the game and started a back-up QB. Maybe Auburn will step up and give Texas a call. I will make sure Patterson says yes, if teams better options like Georgia are not available.

-Yikes. I don't think Texas wants any part of Auburn, not for the next few seasons at least. Could get awfully ugly. Beyond that, we'll have to see.
Many of us on here may not like the team rule or the law. But it is the team rule and it is the law. No point in having either if it is not going to be enforced.
1) You know it is against the law;
2) You know it is against the team rules;
3) You agree to speak at DARE;
4) You get busted for having illegal drugs.
This = consequences.
-From what you have told me in the past Texas doesn't have any room on their schedule for like a decade isn't that the number reason for not renewing the aTm game? Regardless I would be fine with Auburn playing Texas they have been pretty good games in the past I went to the one that was in Austin in 1991.
With the playoff I think the odds of it happening have gone up pretty substantially maybe not in the next year or so but in the future I wouldn't be surprised.

Apparently I say a lot of things to you that I can never recall saying. Texas is booked until 2018, though they only need a 3rd game after USC and Maryland. 2021 is the first year they do not have a perceived power on the schedule (Arkansas).
